Wonderful thanksgiving – Nov 11, 2023

Happy Saturday! The to do list is never ending and it is a day full of cleaning/chores. We are not hosting the holiday this year and are looking forward to gathering at my sister’s. Wahoo! Still need to prepare food of course but less work on the day. We just need to decide what we are bringing and have it ready. It is fun to host but with the surgery, we weren’t sure how I’d be feeling. Thankfully it is behind me now and I’m so glad I didn’t push it back. Nothing fun about surgery and told my doctors I would not be back in 2024! Links are below.

Sharing two simple cards tonight. Both stamped on dull gloss paper and colored with copic markers. The grass on the lamb card was made with marker but the set does come with a grass stamp. I just didn’t use it for this card because it would have been too much for the layout. Although I might need to try some variations and you could give me your opinions! All for now, links are below.

Hello! Thank you all for the kind messages yesterday! We have some new stuff coming and one of them is a Mother’s Day card that can be downloaded, printed and then colored. Happy Wednesday! Love cards can be sent on any day, not just Valentine’s. This dry embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and I believe it has been discontinued but might still be found on Ebay.. or another heart folder would work too. For circles, I always stamp first and then cut! It is easier to line up the punch or cutting die than the stamp but do what works best for you. The coffee beans and cup were colored with alcohol ink markers. Some other options I want to try for this card is a brown swatch behind the white strip and the stitched hearts on top of the solid. Dull Glossy Paper, Thinking of You

Good morning and happy Thursday!

This card is white cardstock folded at top with a swatch of dull gloss colored with the edge of an ink pad. I just start at the edge and rub the paper across the ink pad in each direction until I feel it has enough color. The stripes on the purple piece of paper is created with HH28 (link below). The flower is colored with alcohol inks. Links to stamps and cutting die are below!

Happy Wednesday! Does anyone make bib cards? If not, there is a die cut for it! It is a fun way to mix up layouts. Here we have a snowy Christmas card in dark blue. Was thinking of adding a red ribbon but didn’t have the right color nearby. Might add it later and then blog it again with another bib card!
