Happy Wednesday! Love cards can be sent on any day, not just Valentine’s. This dry embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and I believe it has been discontinued but might still be found on Ebay.. or another heart folder would work too. For circles, I always stamp first and then cut! It is easier to line up the punch or cutting die than the stamp but do what works best for you. The coffee beans and cup were colored with alcohol ink markers. Some other options I want to try for this card is a brown swatch behind the white strip and the stitched hearts on top of the solid. Who doesn’t love a word search?! I had so much fun making this card! The white paper is dull glossy and all the images are colored with alcohol ink markers. Front swatch is 1.5×5.5″, center swatch is 2.75×5.25″ and swatch on right is 4×5.25″. Scrap pieces were used for the flags and word key box. Links are below!

One of a kind Day

2021 Releases, alcohol ink, Dull Glossy Paper, flowers, Friendship

Summer has arrived here in WI! In the form of hot and muggy but I’m not complaining. However, I did turn on the air conditioner! Lovely sweet card today using my four square Cutting Die!

I made this sweet card yesterday for a friend of mine and even already mailed it. One of the best things about being off the road…is all the cards I make actually go to people to enjoy instead of winding up in the booth!

January 28, 2022 – Owl Valentine

Dull Glossy Paper, Valentine's Day

Back with Valentine’s! On this card, the heart border on the left was created with A190 Tiny Heart stamp. The owl was colored with alcohol ink markers. Don’t look too close to the words! I was using dull gloss paper and my hands had some lotion so I smudged it a bit when I was glueing the pieces together. 🤦🏻‍♀️

January 27, 2022 – Wish big!

Birthday, Dull Glossy Paper

A little break from valentines with yesterday’s sympathy and today’s birthday card. I love these skinny candles and love blending the alcohol ink markers. I had one little issue with the dark blue that it just wasn’t blending well. I tried putting it on first and then the lighter color and then tried reverse. Not sure why it dried so fast but oh well! That sometimes happens. Things don’t always go as planned. Still love how these look though!

Dull Glossy Paper, Thinking of You, With Sympathy

Happy Wednesday!

Keeping it simple with this card. First, cut out three scalloped ovals of white dull gloss paper and stamp the flowers. Very important to set the ovals aside to dry before coloring. Then stamp the words on the lower portion of a 4×5.25” piece of white dull gloss. Again, important to let ink dry before coloring and assembling! The middle scallop oval is popped up with a 3D dot.
