Times fun when you are having flies! Boy does time ever fly! I’ve been wanting to get this card kit on the website and I finally got around to it! It’s super cute. The colors are great. There are extra frogs so they have depth to them! We’ve sent a few out in some of the orders.
This is a super cute triple flag card kit. It has a lot of depth to it. This last picture shows how thick the presents are but still fit nicely in an envelope! I love to layer the Cutting Dies.
We’ve been working on a couple of card kits. Some of you who have ordered recently might have gotten one as a free gift! If you do not want us to stamp the card kits you can make a note of it in the order if it does not come up as an option. We are some what limited by our website platform.
I should be stamping with snow and snowmen because we are drowning in snow! Kevin is actually getting a bit tired of snow plowing 🤪 Hard to believe but yesterday after spending another night snow plowing and digging his stuck van out of the snow he was a bit fed up.
A friend of our recently had a heart attack so I wanted to make a card for him. I made these three and then let Kevin choose which one to send. Which do you think he chose??
I love Saturdays! It’s like a free fun day. I’ve been wanting to send a couple of friends cards just to say hello and what better way then with a fox! ?
We’ve got a nice sunny day today. Lots of snow removal going on. One of Kevin’s favorite things to do! Really it is! Loves it! For a boy raised in Arizona – it’s a little strange 😜
I’ve been working on some Birthday cards. I like to try and do a couple of cards with the same layout so I have a couple of samples. I also have been wanting to do some more snowman cards since we have so much snow!
Fresh snow this week so sharing a snowman card! White paper is dull glossy and snowman is colored with alcohol ink markers. The snowflake was stamped three times before re-inking to get the faded look. Links are below!
Happy Wednesday! Love cards can be sent on any day, not just Valentine’s. This dry embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and I believe it has been discontinued but might still be found on Ebay.. or another heart folder would work too. For circles, I always stamp first and then cut! It is easier to line up the punch or cutting die than the stamp but do what works best for you. The coffee beans and cup were colored with alcohol ink markers. Some other options I want to try for this card is a brown swatch behind the white strip and the stitched hearts on top of the solid. Links are below!
It’s time for a big snow storm! The snow started around 4 pm so it’s a perfect night for Stamping. My daughter left some bunnies on my desk all colored so I decided to make them into baby cards. One blue and one pink!
I have this jar of scraps that when I start with an 81/2×12 piece of paper and cut them down to swatches of either 4×51/4 or 37/5×5 I ended up with these perfectly sized pieces of paper that I used to layer on my background. I would have liked a gray to match my bunny but couldn’t find any so I went with what I had for the card. The blue background was a stencil my son found cleaning out a cupboard and he put it on my desk (hadn’t gotten around to putting it away yet!) so I used it for that background.
Happy Monday! I love using textured paper for a background. On all of these cards, the background is 4×5-1/4″. The white paper (dull glossy) is 4×2-5/8″ with the color swatch sized 4-1/4×2-7/8″. I used 3D foam squares to pop up the smaller swatches with one foam square in each corner and one in the middle. The roses were colored with alcohol ink markers. Links are below!
Happy Saturday and wishing you a song in your heart! The background paper on this card is white felt and I used glue to assemble all the pieces except the aloe plant in a pot. For the aloe plant, a 3D foam square was used to pop it up (tip below!) and it was colored with alcohol ink markers. The white swatch with the words and squares is dull glossy paper.
Good afternoon! Sharing several bunny cards today. We are loving this heart embossing folder and will be adding some swatches to the website once back in the shop. Keep checking if interested! Let us know in the comments if we need to work faster on making it available 😉. The circle with words on it is 2” and I used a punch but a cutting die works too. Links to stamps and cutting dies are below!
A triple flag card with gray and white, such a pretty color combo! I love it for wedding and anniversary cards. For the hearts and flag outlines, I used the Encore! Ultimate Metallic ink pad in champagne. Links are below!
Pearl dots – I couldn’t find the packaging these were in and can’t remember where they came from but here is a link to some that would be similar if not the same – Click Here
Happy Friday! I had some scrap pieces of purple paper and love how they worked for this card. The butterfly was colored with alcohol ink markers. Links are below!
Front of orange bib card with Butterfly and “congrats on your accomplishment”Bib card in orange and purpleOrange bib card with butterfly
Who doesn’t love a word search?! I had so much fun making this card! The white paper is dull glossy and all the images are colored with alcohol ink markers. Front swatch is 1.5×5.5″, center swatch is 2.75×5.25″ and swatch on right is 4×5.25″. Scrap pieces were used for the flags and word key box. Links are below!
Good Evening. We have some fun NEW downloadable images! I have been working on some cute valentines. These cards are 2.75” x 4.25”. Cute for packages and for fun. It also gives me an excuse to use my envelope punch and make my own envelope!
After punching this blue circle out of a piece of paper I realized it already had words stamped on it so I used it on the next card because I needed to send a get well card
So how downloaded images work…You purchase online and then from home print on your own paper and make into cards. They are so much fun and so much cheaper to produce and purchase! Any questions let me know!!??
Love simple cards! This fern was cut out and used on a different card and so using the empty cut to show the brown card through. I used Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair ink. It is one of my absolute favorite ink!! It can be purchased from Amazon.
I needed to make a bunch of sympathy cards and I wanted something simple and so just used a fern die cut. This is an old one from a company that I could not remember the name of but it was a popular one so I thought I could Google it. No such luck. So many companies that I have never even heard of! craziness!
You may have noticed that this is the same word stamp that was used on yesterday’s card. I love bees and be cards but don’t want to specific of a stamp and I love being able to change the words to fit my card.
Hard to believe it is the month of December. Time just passes so quickly! Hope you had a good Monday
I have had a very messy desk for several weeks now and I’ve decided it needs cleaning up!
I’ve had several cards all “in the process” of being made but none of them completed. I had a couple of hours today to complete several of them. I hope to post them this week. I hope you enjoy them!
Good Evening! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had an awesome few days with family and friends. Didn’t get much work done but many memories were made.
Loving the Fall Colors
My sister made place cards for all of us!
Before all the food and fun!
We continue to have really warm weather. I think it was between 40 degree and 50 degree weather which is t-shirt and shorts weather here in Wisconsin- although you southerners might think that was winter coat weather!
I got a couple of new Cutting Dies on the Michael’s website during the Black Friday week that I had to try out.
That’s is always such a big question! Better not to ribbon if you are mailing the card… but I couldn’t decide if I should put the ribbon on or leave it off. What do you think?
Do you ever have one of those days where you have a long list of things to accomplish and you get none of it done??! That was my day today! Grrrr…I did, however, have fun with this card….
The beginning!
This card is so cheerful! I was working on another card at the same time when a red heart fell unto this card by accident and I thought it added so much to the card! Love when that happens. Made my frustrated day a little better. Ahhh it’s the little things in life.
Our forecast is for snow today! We saw a few flakes the other day but nothing that stuck. Today we are expecting a few inches. I love snowman cards so I got right to work on some.
Yep! Snow Happens!
Some of my most useful stamps are the small Dual dots- both the open and closed. These stamps only come in wood mount because they would be impossible to keep track of in Cling mount. I have trouble keeping track of them in wood mount! They are always some where on my desk. I need to get better at putting them away when I am done with them.
Wisconsin is expecting a 72 degree day today. That is warmer than Arizona! It looks like the weather will be back to cold tomorrow so we’ll just enjoy today. I think this is the last of my fall cards. Enjoy Today!
I love all the new colors of pumpkins! There is blue, yellow, multi colored ones and of course orange. In the world of electronics it is so fun to get a handmade card. It’s so relaxing to make cards and fun to send. I hope we can all think of someone to send a card to this week!
Good Evening! Looking forward to the weekend! Wanted to share this fall card. I think I was made for fall. One of my favorite times of the year ! I love the colors of fall. The trees are so beautiful in Wisconsin. I hope you are all blooming where you have been planted!
We’ve been pretty quiet on the blog lately. Just a lot going on. I was diagnosed with a nerve sheath tumor on my wrist which are really rare and we’ve been gardening! I did have the tumor removed and it was benign which we knew going in to surgery but was glad to get it confirmed. I have two numb fingers as a result of surgery but I’m hopeful that the feeling will come back. It doesn’t stop the stamping! I love fall colors. I hope this finds you all healthy and happy!
I’ve been busy getting orders out today but needed to send a friend a thank you card. She sent us some really good banana bread! It needed to be quick and easy. And it needed to be flat so I could mail without issues.
I have had this cuddlebug folder forever and have never really been happy with how I made a card with it. But really love it in this layout!
I know that we have been pretty silent on our blog but summer is just so busy!! I did manage to get a new card kit posted today! Super cute Birthday card! We always need birthday cards.
So I’ve been a little silent on the blog! We’ve been very busy catching up on some yard work. Kevin has a new job and he’s not working as many hours (the reason for the change was too many hours!) so we have been doing things around the property that we’ve been wanting to do. Our first project was a raspberry garden…
This was the start. At some point I will show you the finished! My sister called and asked me to make her some graduation cards and I went right to work 😉
I do find gatefold cards a challenge some times but this was left over from some make n take and it was the right color for the graduate school so I decided to work with it!
Good Day! I started working on this card a long time ago and it’s been sitting on my desk with parts and pieces being put on it and being taken away. I started to do a graduation card with the Celebrate and then I stuck it on this card and really liked it! I think it might be much cuter in real life than in pictures!
Here is the last of my four square cards! I’m ready to move on😊 This was a fun card. I always have candles stamped, colored, and cut out for when I need a quick birthday card.
I love these happy day stamps. A great card to send just to cheer someone up. Used my four square cutting die again. I noticed while digging today that I have a tiny 4 square one too! Will have to get it out and make some cards too.
Summer has arrived here in WI! In the form of hot and muggy but I’m not complaining. However, I did turn on the air conditioner! Lovely sweet card today using my four square Cutting Die!
I made this sweet card yesterday for a friend of mine and even already mailed it. One of the best things about being off the road…is all the cards I make actually go to people to enjoy instead of winding up in the booth!
Hello! I’ve been having some fun with pattern paper and my four square Cutting Die. Our weather is warming up. We are very anxious for summer or at least a warmer spring since it’s been so cold.
Good Day! I found this four square cutting die buried deep in my stash and thought it looked fun so I made a few cards with it. There is always a need for Birthday cards so that’s always a safe card to make.
