Good morning and happy Friday! Here we used the hollyhock to decorate the coffee cup. We cut the flower and leaf out with scissors. The coffee cup has cutting dies and link is below. Have a wonderful weekend!
Good morning! Do you ever get card stock that is just hard for you to work with? This color came in a pack and I’ve struggled with it for months now but I think it came together in this card! Is it working?! 😆
Here’s a very simple card with the fondue cake. We always stamp the circle dots first and then punch out. It is too hard trying to stamp after it’s punched but can be done with the MISTI stamping tool. Anyone dreaming of chocolate cake now? 😆
Happy Friday! On this card we stamped the cake first and then put a mask overlay on the cake to stamp the presents. Images colored with alcohol ink markers. White paper is dull gloss, links below. Have a good weekend!
Coffee and friends card today. Stamped on dull gloss white paper and the scallop border looks distressed on this card but it is actually solid. This effect can be created by not pressing hard along the edges or if stamped on an uneven surface. Also I did not re-ink the stamp on the second and third time to create lighter images.
Good morning and happy new year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. 🥳
The two cards today show different ways to color the EE53 skinny candles. One of our favorites is a gradient and the other is to add stripes/dots. With both, we start with the lightest color marker and then add the darker color. White paper is dull gloss. The pink striped background paper is from a paper pack. The green striped background we created using the HH28 dots and lines border stamp.
Good Evening! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! Sorry for our lack of blogging lately. We’ve had a lot going on over here but hope to be a bit more consistent in January. We have a few birthdays in our family this month and so today we have a birthday card!
Good Morning and happy Thursday! We are working on staying positive over here and believing in good things to come. This is a fairly quick card with four stamps. The snowman and white background piece of paper are dull gloss. We stamp these snowflakes multiple times before re-inking to create variation. The snowman was colored with copic markers. Hope everyone is having a good week!
Happy Friday! Today we have another motorcycle birthday card. I love this green plaid paper! I think it is from a holiday pack but I like it with these motorcycles too. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Another card today but with the smaller ear muff snowman. We don’t have any snow right now but not complaining! Anyone have exciting weekend plans? Sleeping in, making cookies, going for a walk? Stamping?? It’s the simple things these days. 😊
Almost Friday! Here we have a simple holiday card and I smudged the words again slightly. 🤦🏻♀️ This time as I was gluing and as I tried to lift it up, the paper started to rip so figured it was good as is. You’d think I would learn but just get too excited and on a roll. 🤪
Hello everyone! Today we have a motorcycle birthday card. Found this graphite color in a buried paper stash and loved how it looked with the motorcycles. Had a little mess up smudging the B on my first attempt but I’m glad I hadn’t glue it yet and was able to re-stamp! That’s the tricky thing with the dull gloss paper, need to allow the ink to dry completely.
Thinking of you all today! Maybe your holiday looks a little different this year. Ours are much smaller and spread out. Hoping we can all be together for Christmas! Feeling thankful for what we have now and sending warmth and joy to everyone in these hard days. 🧡
Here is a really fun card with our heart joy stamp and a burlap bow. Definitely can’t fit it in an envelope though! 😝 Stamped on dull gloss white paper and used a circle cutting die to resemble an ornament. Images colored with copic markers.
Here are three quick and easy cards using GG51. These are great to have on hand to quickly send to someone letting them know you are thinking of them or missing them. We are looking forward to some warmer weather this week!
Three cards today! Same layout and mostly the same stamps. Main differences are colors and we used the larger snowman on the orange card. We inked the snowflakes by stamping three times in a row without re-inking to create gradual lighter images. White circle is a 1.75″ punch.
