I love these happy day stamps. A great card to send just to cheer someone up. Used my four square cutting die again. I noticed while digging today that I have a tiny 4 square one too! Will have to get it out and make some cards too.
Summer has arrived here in WI! In the form of hot and muggy but I’m not complaining. However, I did turn on the air conditioner! Lovely sweet card today using my four square Cutting Die!
I made this sweet card yesterday for a friend of mine and even already mailed it. One of the best things about being off the road…is all the cards I make actually go to people to enjoy instead of winding up in the booth!
I love white on white cards with just a little color. They are so simple and I am drawn to simple. Many of you have asked how we do the cards so I thought I would show you!
Start by cutting out Die!Next EmbossNext add back the cut out!So Simple!
I’ve added a birthday card to my stash! It was quick and easy. We have new stamps coming! I’m excited. It’s always exciting to get new stamps. On today’s card the inside saying is one of our most popular stamps. We redesigned it with more up to date fonts and it’s so awesome!
A quick sympathy card today. This is a clean layout with just one layering swatch and two stamps. The flower is EE65 and was colored with alcohol ink markers. The ribbon hole was created with EK Success Vertical Slot punch.
Good Morning! We have a very cold morning here in Wisconsin. Many of you may know that we left the road, not because of Covid, but because my knees where bad. So on Dec 14, 2021 I had bilateral knee replacement! Yep I did both at the same time. It’s been a long recovery road but I’m getting there. That is one tough surgery! I had a friend who helped me a bit because I was having trouble sleeping and so I needed a card for her. Today’s card is a couple variations that I came up with.
It’s really takes a huge group of people to get someone through knee surgery. My kids were here for days helping us. We could not have done it without them. In the middle of recovery Kevin got Covid so that added a bit of a challenge. So glad those days are behind us and now just lots of physical therapy and hopefully some stamping!
This card is white cardstock folded at top with a swatch of dull gloss colored with the edge of an ink pad. I just start at the edge and rub the paper across the ink pad in each direction until I feel it has enough color. The stripes on the purple piece of paper is created with HH28 (link below). The flower is colored with alcohol inks. Links to stamps and cutting die are below!
Good morning! We have another cold Monday here. Today’s card is a retirement one with a background created by the line and dots border. Very simple and clean! Paper is dull gloss, link here > https://shopec.com/shop/ols/products/dull-glossy-paper
Just a quick post tonight with the hollyhock in pink. Challenge for this week is utilizing small word stamps. We’ll see how it goes as we have a lot going on. 😱😩🤪
Good Afternoon! How on earth is it December already??!! My rescheduled knee surgery is coming up. We are getting our kitchen counters replaced the day after my surgery so we are busy getting all that ready. I still managed to find a little time to stamp- not much mind you but a little! Enjoy!
Good Evening! Well Thanksgiving is over. It’s back to work. We had a fabulous time with good weather for travel.
I’m a little behind on blogging but I had to make a few cards. You will notice something about all the cards this week. They will all have something in common. Hope you enjoy.
I also included a picture of Kevin grilling in the snow storm we had today. It was one of those perfect snowstorms. It was beautiful.
More Sympathy- Same Stamps – Different Colors – Mostly the same layout. Sometime when you find a layout that works- you just keep making cards! Hope you are enjoying!
