A quick sympathy card today. This is a clean layout with just one layering swatch and two stamps. The flower is EE65 and was colored with alcohol ink markers. The ribbon hole was created with EK Success Vertical Slot punch.
I have had the need for several Sympathy cards lately and so I spent the other weekend making cards to restock my stash. I love the colors of this card so subtle and simple. I did not take a picture of the inside of the card but I did include it in the stamp section.
Happy November! I thought I had better get back in the swing of things! We’ve been pretty occupied around our house. I don’t know where the time goes. My friend Heidi made some cards a while back and so I thought I would post them. She does amazing work. I hope you enjoy I got to stamp most of the day yesterday and it was so much fun. Sometimes you forget how relaxing it can be.
Keeping it simple with this card. First, cut out three scalloped ovals of white dull gloss paper and stamp the flowers. Very important to set the ovals aside to dry before coloring. Then stamp the words on the lower portion of a 4×5.25” piece of white dull gloss. Again, important to let ink dry before coloring and assembling! The middle scallop oval is popped up with a 3D dot. So last week I showed you one of my card kits. And so today’s card shows how I put them together.., there are four outside sayings along with a inside saying. So when I need a card I have one with the exact saying that I want.
I love doing cards like this so I have options! I feel like these pictures don’t do the card justice. It is so much better in real life.
A sympathy card today. I love these flowers and bees! Can you tell? This is a good card for mailing because it is flat and will fit into a regular envelope nicely. The words can easily be changed to fit other occasions too. Links are below!
