Summer has arrived here in WI! In the form of hot and muggy but I’m not complaining. However, I did turn on the air conditioner! Lovely sweet card today using my four square Cutting Die!
I made this sweet card yesterday for a friend of mine and even already mailed it. One of the best things about being off the road…is all the cards I make actually go to people to enjoy instead of winding up in the booth!
Keeping it simple with this card. First, cut out three scalloped ovals of white dull gloss paper and stamp the flowers. Very important to set the ovals aside to dry before coloring. Then stamp the words on the lower portion of a 4×5.25” piece of white dull gloss. Again, important to let ink dry before coloring and assembling! The middle scallop oval is popped up with a 3D dot. Links are below!
Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a coffee thank you card with the coffee beans stamped on a brown swatch for a background. Used a scallop die for the white to make it stand out. Now that I am looking at this card, wondering if I should have added a shadow/surface the cups and coffee pot? Will have to try next time!
