Coffee, Dull Glossy Paper

Happy Wednesday! Love cards can be sent on any day, not just Valentine’s. This dry embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and I believe it has been discontinued but might still be found on Ebay.. or another heart folder would work too. For circles, I always stamp first and then cut! It is easier to line up the punch or cutting die than the stamp but do what works best for you. The coffee beans and cup were colored with alcohol ink markers. Some other options I want to try for this card is a brown swatch behind the white strip and the stitched hearts on top of the solid. Coffee, Dull Glossy Paper

Happy Monday!

Here we used the mini coffee cup and the small coffee beans to fill a 4×5.25” swatch of dull glossy paper (click on link to see the paper on website). This was a fun way to create a background but did take a little while coloring all the little images. Click on the links below to see the stamps on our website.

Coffee, Dull Glossy Paper

Happy Monday and first day of February! We have been experimenting with alcohol inks again. For this one we used a paper heart that we cut out and splattered alcohol ink over, creating this empty space that we stamped the phrase in. Then added the coffee cup with a pop up and the ribbon.

Coffee, Dull Glossy Paper

Hello! We have another card today. The inspiration for this one came from Pinterest and now I can’t find the card but it had diagonal lines across with tiny hearts at each intersection. When I saw it, I thought of this Solid Heart and how I could adapt it. Still want to work with other variations but like how this one turned out.

Coffee, pattern paper

Good Morning! Loving this warmer weather! Here are two cards with the same stamps and layout but with different colors. This layout shows the patterned paper off a bit. White paper is dull gloss.

Coffee, Thank You Cards

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a coffee thank you card with the coffee beans stamped on a brown swatch for a background. Used a scallop die for the white to make it stand out. Now that I am looking at this card, wondering if I should have added a shadow/surface the cups and coffee pot? Will have to try next time!
