Christmas Cards

Good Tuesday to You!  Here is my sketch inspiration for today.  Feeling quite rested from the long weekend and ready to tackle the new week.  I had one day (Sunday) of my house being in order and we are back to chaos!  We completely emptied the mudroom yesterday and today we will begin the build out in there.  But first there are orders to send out and stamps to be made!

A switch from the big fox to the little fox today!

We made it to Batesville,  IN last night around 10 pm.  We are up and ready for set up today in Cincinnati, OH and for my class at 2:30 pm.  We have about an hour drive this morning into Cincinnati.

Here are some pictures of my niece who loves horses!  She was at a horse show of some kind this weekend and took home several ribbons.  Way to Go Hallie!

Here’s a card to go with the cup we posted last week!

Sooooooo we are off again!  Leaving today at noon for the last leg of this journey!  I admit it!  I am weary!  🙂

Have a last few stamps to make this morning but we are mostly packed!  I don’t really unpack.  I wash the clothes and just put them back in the suitcase.  So they went back in the suitcase this morning and the suitcase went back into the truck…Looking forward to Cincinnati!

Tuesday Morning!

Hope your day is a good one.  My sister came over to help me make stamps on her day off.  Thank Goodness!  We have a lot to do and we leave tomorrow at noon.

For all you ladies with the Brother ScannCut…I have figured out how to virtually cut out ALL (that’s right 100%) of your stamps with this awesome machine.  I used to say you had to have a continues line and not a solid stamp but I have figured a way to fool the machine.  Someone mentioned to me about the Scan mat that is available from Brother for scanning fabric and how it worked so I wondered if we could apply the same concept to our stamps.  This is what I do:  (when I have time I will try to do pictures! just a little busy right now :)) I stamp the image on paper.  Lay it on the standard mat.  Take a piece of acetate that is a little bigger and place over the stamped paper.  Draw a line where I want the machine to cut on the acetate with a sharpie.  Scan the image.  When it is done scanning, I take off the acetate and then have it just cut the paper!  Works Awesome!

Have a great day!

Here we go Again…

We are home was again!  The truck drove into the driveway at 2:02 this am.  I’m up and at it already but Kevin is sleeping since he drove all the way home.  He’s a night owl and I’m a morning person so it works out good.

Everything starts all over again with Novi, MI show this weekend.  For those interested information is at http://www.heirloompro.com.

A Very Happy Birthday to our daughter Karissa today!  We couldn’t ask for a better daughter!

Baby Cards

baby tagWhew!  We have been pretty busy!  So busy I forgot to blog yesterday 😦

We got up early yesterday and finished making stamps and getting ready for Allentown, PA show.  Due to the snow storm that was predicted across the midwest area; we decided to leave late in the day on Wednesday.  We finally arrived at the hotel at midnight.  We still had 13-14 hours to go today – so up early and we have finally arrived in PA.  We can’t get in to set up until 10 am so no need to get up early in the morning. 🙂

Here’s a sweet little baby tag.  We are trying to get all the cards from our booth posted on the blog and this is part of that collection.  Hope your day was a good one and tomorrow looks like the weather will be awesome!

Baby Cards

Finally a few baby girls have been born. Sadly one is way down in Texas so I probably won’t see her for awhile and the other is here in MN. So excited! It means I can finally pull out my pink paper. After making the last 3 baby cards blue, it is a good change. I like to use purple and teal if I don’t know whether it is a girl or a boy though and that breaks up the traditional pink and blue, like the elephant card from last Friday. The tag in this card is a punch by EK Success that I ran a copic marker along the edge to add some pink and embellished it with a little heart brad (I love these brads!).

Copic Markers used: E33 Sand, E29 Burnt Umber
