Good morning and happy new year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. 🥳
The two cards today show different ways to color the EE53 skinny candles. One of our favorites is a gradient and the other is to add stripes/dots. With both, we start with the lightest color marker and then add the darker color. White paper is dull gloss. The pink striped background paper is from a paper pack. The green striped background we created using the HH28 dots and lines border stamp.
Pink card Stamps: EE53 Skinny Candles, DD48 Birthday Fun Cube
Green card Stamps: EE53 Skinny Candles, HH28 Dots and Lines Border, G218 Deserve Wonderful Birthday
Here we have two cards with the same colors and stamps but slightly different layout and paper. These cards are quick, easy and fun to make!

This morning finds us leaving TN and headed for GA. We’ve had an uneventful trip so far and beautiful weather.
Stamps Used: D328 Sending Thanks; F211 AP’s Sunflower Lg;
We’ve accomplished a lot today ! We have all the convention “pulled” that means all the stamps we are going to make have had their ticket pulled. The ticket tells us all the information we need to make the stamp. We have vulcanized 1/2 of them. We still have a long way to go but I see lots of progress.
Kevin and Bruce (a friend of ours) have continued to build in the pantry/mudroom. I have to say it is coming out better than I could have imagined!! I have been admiring those barn doors on Pintrest and I’m getting one in the pantry/mudroom. so excited. I will post pictures when done 🙂
I made today’s card for a friend of mine that needs a little love sent her way! Stamps Used: D300 Sending Love; EE56 KB’s Tall Daisy Lg; F196 Wishing Love.
The Long Weekend is about here!
Just a quick note today since we are back on the road. This layout is similar to yesterday’s but I’m loving the colors and simplicity. The words give this card the option for almost any occasion. It could be a birthday, a special day or just a thinking of you card. Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!
Good Afternoon…we have had some full and wonderful days with our family! Did a little shopping today…got another pair of shoes today! They are so cute. That is one thing when I buy a pair of shoes…I never take a pair of shoes out. With other things, like shirts, one goes in and one goes out…not shoes:) Love shoes! Bought red shoes today. 🙂
Notice that today’s card has a bead on it? On the ribbon!
Stamps Used: J35 Live Every Moment, D299 Trio Butterflies
Well back to work…not quite ready yet for Akron. If anyone is interested in helping us at Akron on Saturday, please email me at beth@shopec.com. Thanks!
Well, Good Evening. It is past bedtime and I remembered I hadn’t blogged yet so I uploaded this lovely card only to see a shadow in it :(. So I apologized for that!
We made stamps today and I was in charge of supper. We always have bible study on Wednesday too so pretty soon the day was gone! I’m not sure how it happened but life seems to be speeding up.
Stamps Used: E256 KB’s Bookish Owl, C234 ConGRADulations, And both theLarge and Small Graduation Hat.
We are working on some new graduations stamps and I’m excited about them 🙂
Here are a few cards using hat pins on them. I love making the pins and using them on cards…adds a nice little touch.
We’ve had some busy days since returning from CO… not doing much but just getting things re-organized, needed to do laundry, buy groceries, clean house, and, of course, make stamps again! Just ordinary things that make each day a gift. I want to cherish each day and love the little things in it. Was really special to spend time with my parents and my brother while in Colorado. We made some new memories to cherish. Hope your ordinary days are special.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! and Happy Birthday to my nephew Blake!
We had an awesome time in Allentown, PA. Those ladies there are always good to us! We finally got home around 6:30 pm after 12.5 hours travel today and 5 hours yesterday. Not too bad 🙂 We had thought to do nothing tomorrow but issues and orders await us! It’s good to be home!
We will have a nice relaxing evening and then be relaxed and ready to go in the morning. Hope you’ve enjoyed your day today and have either eaten or drunk something GREEN!
