Good Morning! Today we head to Collinsville, IL for the Rubber Stamp Events. We have a big weekend ahead of us and then we are taking a little mini vacation. We have everything just about packed and that includes what we need for our vacation! Getting Excited!
Karissa has included with this card the Copics that she likes to use…how nice of her!
Stamps Used: J33 KB’s Baby Animals Border; A190 Tiny Heart; F210 Rectangle Dots; C231 Happy New Baby
Whew! We have been pretty busy! So busy I forgot to blog yesterday 😦
We got up early yesterday and finished making stamps and getting ready for Allentown, PA show. Due to the snow storm that was predicted across the midwest area; we decided to leave late in the day on Wednesday. We finally arrived at the hotel at midnight. We still had 13-14 hours to go today – so up early and we have finally arrived in PA. We can’t get in to set up until 10 am so no need to get up early in the morning. 🙂
Here’s a sweet little baby tag. We are trying to get all the cards from our booth posted on the blog and this is part of that collection. Hope your day was a good one and tomorrow looks like the weather will be awesome!
KB here today since my folks are in Indianapolis getting ready for the Heirloom show. Today, I have to share this cute handmade in MN stamp! I can’t wait to use it to make tags for all the little handmade stuff I’ve been working on. Mostly bandana bibs (or drool catchers as I sometimes call them) for all my friends having babies.
Here is a photo of what the bandana bibs look like with the tags I am currently using. There are a ton of tutorials online as to how to make them. I learned about them from a friend who makes them for her little one and they are a fun gift to give.
Stamp used on the little tag: DD53 KB’s Baby Giraffe
Now to the card, this little snowman is so darling and I think he matches the font and words so well. Sorry, it is a bit hard to tell but the card is a pearlescent white which is really pretty and shimmers. Thought about adding something more but liked the simplicity too much.
Stamps used on the card: EE47 and F233 which are not online yet but will hopefully be up soon or if you are in Indianapolis they will be in the booth. So go check it out!
Have a great weekend everyone!
So my friend, Michelle, took pity on me this morning and sent me a card to blog! Love that! My paperwork is several months behind, I’ve got piles of stamps to make, company here, company leaving, more company coming, baby showers to go to, farmer’s market to attend, quilts to finish….this list goes on and on…loving life! 🙂 now if I could just find some time to stamp…
Stamps Used: D165 Baby Food Jars, B266 Oh, Baby!
Just sent this card to TX!
Stamps used: J33 KB’s Baby Animal Border, C231 Happy New Baby, DD53 KB’s Baby Giraffe, A190 KB’s Tiny Solid Heart, F210 Fancy Rectangle
It is supposed to rain quite a bit the next few days here in MN so maybe that means some cards will be made? Hoping so.
My next project is to stamp some of these little animals on a few onesies. My last project was sewing the 1-12 on onesies for a baby’s monthly photo series. Not as easy as I thought it would be but I have some left over and am thinking the little lion, giraffe and elephant would look so cute on these (not with the numbers though)! Really excited to try it!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Finally a few baby girls have been born. Sadly one is way down in Texas so I probably won’t see her for awhile and the other is here in MN. So excited! It means I can finally pull out my pink paper. After making the last 3 baby cards blue, it is a good change. I like to use purple and teal if I don’t know whether it is a girl or a boy though and that breaks up the traditional pink and blue, like the elephant card from last Friday. The tag in this card is a punch by EK Success that I ran a copic marker along the edge to add some pink and embellished it with a little heart brad (I love these brads!).
Stamps used: B266 Oh, Baby!, DD53 KB’s Baby Giraffe, J33 KB’s Baby Animals Border,
Copic Markers used: E33 Sand, E29 Burnt Umber
I have been a little obsessed with the EK Success triangle punch. It makes a really cute banner especially with the tiny button brads. F232 Bundle of Joy is on the inside.
Stamps used: A190 Tiny Solid Heart, B266 Oh, Baby!, C72 Baby Feet Small, F210 Fancy Rectangle, DD54 KB’s Baby Elephant
This weekend we are in Akron, OH. We hope to see you there! Click on this link for more information: http://adventuresinstamping.info
We need your help! Please answer these 2 questions to give us a better idea of how useful a catalog and card samples in an iBook format on a device would be. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Happy Friday!
With 2 baby showers last month and another in a few weeks, I’m always in need of a cute, quick baby card. I love the chevron border stamp and the little feet! It is so fun to make this card. It is also really easy to change the colors for boy or girl.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
