Here’s a very simple card with the fondue cake. We always stamp the circle dots first and then punch out. It is too hard trying to stamp after it’s punched but can be done with the MISTI stamping tool. Anyone dreaming of chocolate cake now? 😆

Happy Friday! On this card we stamped the cake first and then put a mask overlay on the cake to stamp the presents. Images colored with alcohol ink markers. White paper is dull gloss, links below. Have a good weekend!

Coffee, Dull Glossy Paper

Coffee and friends card today. Stamped on dull gloss white paper and the scallop border looks distressed on this card but it is actually solid. This effect can be created by not pressing hard along the edges or if stamped on an uneven surface. Also I did not re-ink the stamp on the second and third time to create lighter images.

Good morning and happy new year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. 🥳

The two cards today show different ways to color the EE53 skinny candles. One of our favorites is a gradient and the other is to add stripes/dots. With both, we start with the lightest color marker and then add the darker color. White paper is dull gloss. The pink striped background paper is from a paper pack. The green striped background we created using the HH28 dots and lines border stamp.

Almost Friday! Here we have a simple holiday card and I smudged the words again slightly. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This time as I was gluing and as I tried to lift it up, the paper started to rip so figured it was good as is. You’d think I would learn but just get too excited and on a roll. 🤪
