Next I moved to a birthday card… this started when we cleaned up some of our stuff from days on the road. We had some card kits from our alcohol ink project and I love these colors.
Handmade cards make wonderful gifts! I had a stash of cards ready and picked a few to give to a neighbor as a thank you gift along with a mum flower. She loved them and now I’m inspired to make more as soon as I have more energy again!

It’s time for a big snow storm! The snow started around 4 pm so it’s a perfect night for Stamping. My daughter left some bunnies on my desk all colored so I decided to make them into baby cards. One blue and one pink!
I have this jar of scraps that when I start with an 81/2×12 piece of paper and cut them down to swatches of either 4×51/4 or 37/5×5 I ended up with these perfectly sized pieces of paper that I used to layer on my background. I would have liked a gray to match my bunny but couldn’t find any so I went with what I had for the card. The blue background was a stencil my son found cleaning out a cupboard and he put it on my desk (hadn’t gotten around to putting it away yet!) so I used it for that background.
A friend of ours became grandparents on April Fool’s day! And so I needed another baby card for the baby’s parents. We know the new little baby was a boy so I was able to use blue. I also did a pink and gray one for my stash!
Hello! A baby shower! I’m headed to a baby shower tomorrow and I could not tell when the last time I went to one was. Of course I had no cards in my stash so I had to make one. I did have to add more hearts because of the smudge of ink 😬🙄
Good Afternoon! I’ve been working on the website today and thought I would add a blog post since I was working. The website is an endless job. Never done, always needs something done to it! I also have a brand new great nephew – Henry. The cutest thing you ever did see so we’ve been busy with baby cards. Enjoy!
Good Morning. We’ve been silent this past while just do to the busyness of life. Sometimes you just have to stop and get caught up on life! Summer is going fast so I hope you all are enjoying it.
Today’s card is just a simple one stamp no word card. ahh so sweet… we had baby wrens in the bird houses on the back porch. It so fun to hear them grow up!
