2021 Releases, Get Well Soon, HeidiLea Creations, pattern paperGood Morning! I hope all is well. We are doing ok; this knee surgery thing is not so easy – good days and bad days but seeing more good than bad. Todays card comes from my friend Heidi and uses some of her new stamps. How appropriate! We appreciated a 47 degree day yesterday but it seems the cold is back today. The cold makes the knees ache! I guess you are old when you can tell the weather by your joints.

Download, Owls, Valentine's DayGood Morning! We have been working on some cards kits or downloads as we call them. It is something that you purchase for a small fee and then download and print yourself. Usually we print on some type of white card stock. You can then color and cut out and make five cards adding additional paper and accessories.
As you can see, I kept the cards all very similar to make it quick and easy. That was the objective- to quickly make cards. It was so much fun! I had these five cards in within a short period of time. Super Fun! I hope you enjoy!

January 28, 2022 – Owl Valentine
Dull Glossy Paper, Valentine's DayBack with Valentine’s! On this card, the heart border on the left was created with A190 Tiny Heart stamp. The owl was colored with alcohol ink markers. Don’t look too close to the words! I was using dull gloss paper and my hands had some lotion so I smudged it a bit when I was glueing the pieces together. 🤦🏻♀️

January 25, 2022 – Another owl!
Dull Glossy Paper, Owls, Valentine's DayGood morning, happy Tuesday and thank you for all the messages and well wishes!
We have another Valentine owl card because it is just so much fun to color. And the books can be colored to match whatever card stock paper is used. Anyone else really into Valentines this year? Mostly it passes without much notice but this year, all things pink and red!

This paper has a high risk of smudging! Use a waterproof ink pad and be sure if you touch the paper that your hands are clean and dry! I love the look of it but really need to be careful when handling because it does take a long time to dry. I’ll even leave my images to dry overnight before returning to color with the alcohol ink markers.

Friday, January 21, 2022 – Hoo will Be?
Dull Glossy Paper, Owls, Valentine's DayGood Morning! Valentines Day is coming up soon so we thought to do a Valentines card. Someone asked a bit ago if we had any projects going. And we always do! The day after my surgery we had our counters in the kitchen replaced and then a new back splash. I planned it good. I didn’t do any work- the kids and Kevin did it all.

Thursday Jan 20, 2022- You’re the Best
Cutting Dies w/ matching stamp, Dull Glossy Paper, flowers, Friendship, Just a NoteGood Morning! We have a very cold morning here in Wisconsin. Many of you may know that we left the road, not because of Covid, but because my knees where bad. So on Dec 14, 2021 I had bilateral knee replacement! Yep I did both at the same time. It’s been a long recovery road but I’m getting there. That is one tough surgery! I had a friend who helped me a bit because I was having trouble sleeping and so I needed a card for her. Today’s card is a couple variations that I came up with.
It’s really takes a huge group of people to get someone through knee surgery. My kids were here for days helping us. We could not have done it without them. In the middle of recovery Kevin got Covid so that added a bit of a challenge. So glad those days are behind us and now just lots of physical therapy and hopefully some stamping!
