The weekend is almost here. Thank goodness! Tomorrow I hopefully will be posting our boys cards kits. It has a fish card, a golf card, and a motorcycle card. Mini cards that are super fun to make! Tonight it’s all about dragons.
Here is a quick card using HH28 to create a background. We used dull gloss paper for the 4×5.25 piece and for the circle. We used copic markers to color the cupcake. We rubbed the edge of the circle against an ink pad to add a border. Hope your week is going well!
Loving how the copic markers make this flower look on the dull gloss paper! The dull gloss paper is 2.75″x4.25″, the cream paper behind is 3″x4.5″, the yellow strip is 0.875″x4″ (found in scrap bin!), and the polka dot paper is 4″x5.25″. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!
Here is another card using pieces of scrap paper! The white piece with celebrate on it is 1″x5.25″. The candles piece is 1″x3.5″. The blue and white striped paper is 1.75″x5.25″.
Happy St. Patrick’s day! Sadly, we do not have a patty day card.😆 It snuck up on us! Instead, we have a birthday card to celebrate Blake’s (nephew) birthday! Hope everyone is doing well in these crazy times we live in.
This was a fun card to make and a bit of an experiment. For the background, I used dull gloss paper and rubbed the edges with a light blue ink pad, then stamped rows and columns of the bitty block across the paper. Followed with the circle in green. Thought it was still missing something, so added the orange lines. Used Copic markers to color the cupcake. My constant struggle with the dull gloss is not allowing enough time to dry. Might need to take a heat gun to it! A lot of birthdays are coming up so time to get stamping 🤪, happy Friday! 🎉
Cards for men always seem to be a challenge. This one is quick and easy though. Plaid paper found in a pack from Michaels (I believe.. can’t quite remember where I bought it) and stamps are in a set (CS107). We have a busy day ahead so keeping it short, happy Thursday!
Happy Friday! Anyone have exciting weekend plans?! Should be a little warmer over the next few days and might be good to get outside for a bit. Or stay in and stamp all weekend. 🙂
