Happy Valentine’s Day!

Snowman, Valentine's Day

heart melt2well my goodness, we continue to get SNOW!  We get a couple of inches then Kevin plows and we get a couple more, so he plows, and then we get MORE!  It really is pretty!  The ground is beautiful.

this card is a little smaller than the usual so that I could put the heart on top and still fit it into a A2 size Envelope.  I also like to use the snow pile for my snowman so that they look like they are sitting on something!

Stamps Used:  HH26 Heart Border; C240 Make my Heart Melt; F140 Snowpile; AA27 Snowflakes; B245 KB’s Top Hat Small;

Have a great Weekend!  Treat your Valentine!

Valentine's Day

love on valentinesjust a quick post this morning…

We arrived home yesterday after two very long days of travel.  Got ahead of most of the snow but had about a hour and half of snow  Sunday night.  Of course it was dark and that makes it worse but we had no mishaps!

Got home in time to get some groceries and the dog and then we crashed.  Up early this morning to get our special orders out today and it all begins again….make more stamps 🙂

It is very cold this morning -15; the dog has decided the best place to be is in front of the space heater!  I agree but since I don’t have the life of a dog it’s back to work! Have a good Tuesday!

Valentine's Day

love youanother simple valentine’s day card leading up to Valentine’s Day!  I sponged the hearts with ink after using a square punch to punch out of paper.  Stamps Used:  A186 Solid Heart; A188 Stitched Heart; F185 Love you

We had a nice relaxing afternoon yesterday.  After taking care of things in the morning we drove down to Ron and Sarah (from The Paper Cut, Inc.) hotel about 12 miles south of ours.  It was nice to drive along the beach and see all the cool houses and hotels.  We ate supper at Brown Boxer a local bar and grill.  We then went to a few shops.  I like to collect cookie cutters and so I got two, a football and football helmet!  We then went to the beach and just hung out on it.  This morning we got up around 7 had a nice leisure breakfast and then went for a walk.  We will work for a little while now and then head back out to the beach.  Here is the hotel we are staying at…got a super great rate because I booked so long ago.

Valentine's Day

valentine XOa simple valentine’s day card this morning…The circle is actually punched out and the top layer is  3D popped out!  I feel really bad because during the show in GA someone asked me where this XO stamp was and and went to show them and someone else asked me something and I forgot the XO person and then I couldn’t find her 😦 hate when that happens!  So I apologize to anyone I didn’t get a chance to help.

Stamps Used:  B244 KB’s XO; B186 Happy Valentine’s Day Rad

We are in Clearwater, FL waiting for the show this weekend.  The weather has been odd; We had crazy FOG last night.  You could barely see a few feet in front of your face.  But it was warm so I’m not complaining.  We hope to go out and loaf on the beach this afternoon.  Kevin took the truck in for routine maintenance.  I’ve been working on the website and orders and soon we’ll relax!

Valentine's Day

valentine flowerwe are sending love to everyone here in Lawrenceville,  GA.

A GREAT big THANK YOU to Jaimie for helping me with Make n  Takes.  Couldn’t have done it without her!

We are off bright and early this morning!  Kevin asked one of my favorite customers (I’m really bad with names!) about the Atlanta commute and he decided we better get out of the city before breakfast so we are off!

I’m so sorry Jackie about your Denver Bronco loss!  🙂

We had a awesome time here!  We thank you.  Also my students in both of my classes were terrific. A special Thank You to Cathy for my socks and treats!  You guys really make being on the road fun!  Kevin and I are truly home bodies but I would really miss all of you guys if we didn’t go on the road!  Have a great Monday!

Creatures, Valentine's Day

wild about 1 wild about 2another cute creature valentine!  Love the mini fox, he’s new!  Fits inside the 1″ circles.

I got several responses on the triple circle die on how to extent the card.  There is even a video showing how to extend it.  Good video to watch ladies!

this is what I did yesterday afternoon….remember I mentioned we were painting my friend Holly’s counter tops.  Well, we did and they came out great!  Today we are going over to put the waterproofing on them.  We need Kevin’s help for that!

Valentine's Day

triple circle 1 triple circle 2Happy Friday to You all!  so happy it’s Friday!  Glad for a couple days off from the stamping world.  While home, we try really hard not to work on the weekends.  I know that it is hard to imagine but when your work lives with you sometimes it’s hard to turn off!  There is always more that can be done and sometimes you just have to stop. 🙂 I have a little trouble with that.

For those of you who have been wondering about the Triple Circle Flip die that is like The Paper Cut Triple Circle Z Fold card…mine has finally arrived.  It is VERY different!  VERY small!  It’s cute but I really feel like it doesn’t compare to the cards.  One reason I was disappointed in it,  was that there is really no place to put an inside saying.  Most everything is seen from the front of the card.  It was a little pricey at $29.99 but comes with lots of little things to cut out.  I much prefer to punch out three little circles that have to put things through the die cutting machine three times.  But it is really fun to play with and cute.  We will have a few for sale at the Lawrencville, GA show coming up in a few weeks.

Valentine's Day

valentine heartsGood Morning!  Our morning has started out with Kevin taking my niece and nephew to school bright and early so we are up and at it early!  I really like getting up early.  Kevin likes to stay up late and get up late and so I’ve kind of become that but I really like going to bed early and getting up early!

I should have taken this card out of the sleeve before I took the picture but as I say “it is what it is”…:) I’m looking forward to this weekend when I can get back in the studio for some stamping!  My laundry is getting caught up.  I’m not sure why I was so behind but I think it was because of all the company at Christmas.  I have the guest rooms all back together with sheets washed and beds made again so I’m hoping my weekend will be for fun.  Well, the orders await…I am taking a lunch break with my friend, Marilyn, to a pizza place called Cranky Pat’s so I best get to work!

Valentine's Day

be mineGood Afternoon! It’s been a busy, busy day.  Wednesday, as many of you know, is cleaning day at our house.  I had the whole job by myself since Kevin needed to plow the 7.5″ of snow that we got yesterday. He is still plowing…I think he drags it out so he doesn’t have to work!  Today is also our sons 23rd Birthday.   Hard to believe he is that old since he is my baby.

Better keep moving have lots of orders to get out, emails to answer, and work to do!

Stamps Used:  D229 Swiss dot 1.5″, B244 KB’s XO, E192 Be Mine, HH28 Lines & Dots Border

Valentine's Day

heart treethis awesome embossing folder is so versatile!  It is a pricey one though…$7.50 for one folder!  But sometimes it is just worth it! 🙂

We traveled a really long way yesterday over 1100 miles in one day.  Kevin wanted to get home before the snow started flying and it is flying this morning!  We got in around midnight and I think the snow started around 4 am so we are glad we kept going.

Stamps Used:  A190 Mini Heart; DD42 Valentine Ticket Words.
