Baby Cards

baby animals wildGood Morning!  Happy Monday to You!  It’s a brand new week with lots of possibilities!  Love the new Wild About You Stamp.  Hoping to get the new stamps on the website this week.  My list is always longer than possibilities but it makes for never being bored.

This weekend I finished two projects in my garage.  One is a little entry way table and the other is a little magazine rack that I found at a local thrift store for $2 and it holds 12×12 perfectly!  It was an ugly brown so I changed it to an awesome grey with a hint of brown.  Happy with it!

paper rack 1 paper rack 2yep, happy with it!  Getting my class ready for the next show today.  It usually takes most of the day.  I’m also going to my friend Holly’s house to paint kitchen counters.  That should be interesting!

Baby Cards

baby-cardWe have been very busy getting the carts ready for 2014!  It’s a big job and keeps us well occupied and out of trouble 🙂

I love the colors used on this card.  It’s such a good baby boy card!

We are getting more snow!  We’ve had to plow a couple times already.  The ground is so beautiful with all the snow.  Kevin had to shovel a path to get from the shop to the house tonight.  I wonder what morning will bring??

baby thank youMade some cards like this for my friend who just had a baby!  an adorable baby girl with red hair!  The joys of raising a red head await them!

We have made it to OH for the Stampaway Convention.  Drove last night till 2 am then up at 7 am for the rest of the trip in.  We had to be here by at least 3 pm so we could move everything from the trailer to the booth.  No set up today just moved everything in.  Now a restful night so we can be ready to go in the morning!  It’s been a busy week …

It is supposed to rain quite a bit the next few days here in MN so maybe that means some cards will be made? Hoping so.

My next project is to stamp some of these little animals on a few onesies. My last project was sewing the 1-12 on onesies for a baby’s monthly photo series. Not as easy as I thought it would be but I have some left over and am thinking the little lion, giraffe and elephant would look so cute on these (not with the numbers though)! Really excited to try it!   Monthly Onesies

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Oh, Baby! Giraffe card

Finally a few baby girls have been born. Sadly one is way down in Texas so I probably won’t see her for awhile and the other is here in MN. So excited! It means I can finally pull out my pink paper. After making the last 3 baby cards blue, it is a good change. I like to use purple and teal if I don’t know whether it is a girl or a boy though and that breaks up the traditional pink and blue, like the elephant card from last Friday. The tag in this card is a punch by EK Success that I ran a copic marker along the edge to add some pink and embellished it with a little heart brad (I love these brads!).

Stamps used: B266 Oh, Baby!, DD53 KB’s Baby Giraffe, J33 KB’s Baby Animals Border,

Copic Markers used: E33 Sand, E29 Burnt Umber

Oh, Baby! Banner Card

I have been a little obsessed with the EK Success triangle punch. It makes a really cute banner especially with the tiny button brads. F232 Bundle of Joy is on the inside.

This weekend we are in Akron, OH. We hope to see you there! Click on this link for more information: http://adventuresinstamping.info

We need your help! Please answer these 2 questions to give us a better idea of how useful a catalog and card samples in an iBook format on a device would be. Thank you and have a great weekend!
