Creatures, Hello

l2

Hope you all are happy this Tuesday!  This is a 3.5″x5.0″ Triple Circle card that I cut out with my triple circle die.  We are hoping to put together a bee card for make n takes this weekend in Bloomington, MN.  I’m also looking forward to a day of stamping in my stamp studio tomorrow!  Got some ideas floating around in my head that I’ve been wanting to get done.

The weather is suppose to be really nice the next couple of days so maybe I can get some outside projects done too!

Have a nice evening!

Home Again!

Anniversary/Wedding

happy together

Once again we are home and the fun starts all over again!  We will be in Bloomington,  MN this weekend…more information for those interested at http://www.rubberstampevents.com! Posting today is another cute snail card!  How adorable is this card?  Karissa actually made it so I can’t take the credit for it!  She found this really cool ribbon punch in my stash and was using it on all her cards.  It is just a simple slot punch but I will have to see if I can find that and put them in the booth.

I was so happy to see so many of my old friends from WI out in West Bend this weekend!  Janelle and Kay came out to see me 🙂 I was so happy to see them.  I hope I have Kay’s name right!  I should have asked Kevin because he always remember her name and I always forget.  Kevin remembers because she won a card contest at our store a long time ago and he was the judge !  Do you guys remember that!??

Kathy came all the way from South Carolina to see me!?  Well not just to see me but she did come to West Bend to see me!

New MNT!

Friendship

snail & Fox 1

Good Morning!  We spent the weekend doing mostly nothing which makes for a nice relaxing weekend! I did manage to get a MNT done.  This one is so cute.  We wanted to add some MNT’s that use the brother scan n cut machine to get some more exposure for it. I have also wanted to add some little 3.5″x5.0 notecards in to the mix and I got that accomplished too.

We also did some video’s this weekend with the brother machine and will post them on the blog soon.  Hope your weekend was good and you are all re-charged for the new week.

Karissa came home this weekend to help us celebrate the Fourth and to get a cute little present:

kitty 1

our newest addition to the family that will live in St. Paul with her.  Maizie!  She is adorable.  We had to take Karissa’s last kitty to the barn because she was being really naughty and this little kitty is a runt and was getting picked on by the other cats so we rescued it!  Yes, that is my stamping area in the back that always looks like that!  ugh!

Baby Cards

IMG_4804loving the color orange these days…

so happy to have arrived home yesterday around 2 pm.  After a quick trip to town to the bank, the grocery store and to pick up the dog we got right to work on some of the orders that we had piling up.  We also had to mow the lawn again.  Hoping for a nice warm day today but it is looking pretty cold.  I even turned the space heater on in the bathroom this morning 🙂  It’s  off to work!

Adventures Along the Way!

Snowman

snow

Good Morning!  You may wonder why I’m thinking about snow but we have had quite the adventure this weekend!  Our trip down to Orlando was complicated by no internet along the way.  We had been using our Verizon data on our phones when we started getting email stating we were over our limit 😦  When we got to Orlando the International Palms where the convention was held nothing improved.  They had horribly slow internet that was pretty useless 🙂  That was just the start of our complicated weekend…

We had an awesome time with our customers on Saturday and Sunday.  At the end of the show a huge rain/wind/lightening storm popped up and we had to delay loading the trailer for about an hour which made us late getting out of Orlando.  I said I would rather load in a snowstorm than the rain and puddles!  Earlier in the year we loaded in a blizzard in Indianapolis, IN and it was easier than this load!   I dumped over a bunch of product into a huge puddle 😦

We stopped for gas and food on the turnpike but because of the storm the food place had to close and the pumps weren’t working so we had to go further…Got to our hotel late around 11:30 pm.   We got up at 4:50 am and started on the road very early.  We really wanted to get all the way home but facing an 18 hour commute home we realized it might not be possible and it wasn’t.  Had a delay in TN from an auto accident investigation that had traffic backed up for about an hour.

We finally made it to Merriville, IN (after about 15 hours in the truck!)  but as we were heading North on 65 we realized that the sky was looking really black and ugly.  We only had 10 miles to our hotel so we decided to keep moving…about 4 miles from the hotel the sky opened up and the rain and wind were incredible!  Finally made it to hotel, got some food, and fell asleep exhausted only to have Kevin wake me up at 10:45 and told me to get dressed because there was a tornado warning so we spent 25 minutes waiting for the storm to pass.  We also realized that there was no point in getting up early and getting on the road because all the roads had gotten flooded!  So a nice relaxing breakfast this morning and decent internet so all is well again.  Hopefully we will get back on the road soon.  Glad there was no real damage from the storm but really ready to be HOME!

Enjoy the snow card!  I really prefer snow to rain, rain, rain and more rain!  At least the snow is pretty.  I guess that makes me a true midwest girl.  Have a snow fun day!
