Good Morning!  We have another Star Graduation card this morning.  I want to make a birthday card with the star cards…we will see how the day goes 🙂

We have a big day today.  My brother is in the area (well not too close but a 45 minute drive so not too bad!) and we’ve been invited down to have supper with him.  The area where he is has GOOD SHOPPING!  I love good shopping so I can’t go down there without a little shopping 🙂  Working frantically so I can do a bit of shopping before supper 🙂

Good Evening!  Today’s card comes from Kathy in SC!  A sweet Easter card.  Stamps Used:  HH27 Whumsy Daisy Lg, EE44 KB’s Bunny w/ radish

We had a very busy weekend!  We painted the entire Dining Room and then began replacing the floor with hardwood floors.  Choosing colors for the walls is always fingernail biting work!  I actually took the curtains to Home Depot and had them match a color on the curtains.  I love Behr Paint and Primer.  I’m also a big Oops Paint buyer.  So all in all I only have $40 in paint so far. I had two gallons of oops red paint…but one was too pink and the other was two orange.  So we mixed them and it was perfect.  Love when that happens. As soon as we finish…I’ll show you pictures.

We are finishing up a big wholesale order today and then doing a little re-modeling!  Got my painting clothes on today but Kevin said the walls in the Dining Room are not quite ready so we are moving to the Master Bedroom Closet.  The floors need re-doing, walls need re-painting, and moving some things around are far as organization.  So Excited!  Love Re-Modeling 🙂

Oh My!

Oh My!  We have had a beautiful day today here in Wisconsin!  Beautiful Sunshine and around 60 degrees!  Not too hot and not too cold…about perfect.

So I played a little hooky!  Well not completely…we had a vulcanizer (our rubber cooker!) burst a hose and so yesterday we took it to town to be fixed.  They put the wrong end on it so I had to go back to town to get it fixed again 🙂  Now, those of you who live in big cities…probably don’t feel my pain…but going to town takes a half a day around here because of the distance. So if I’m going to lose a couple of hours of work might as well make it 4-6 hours …right?!  I stole my niece and we went shopping.  Nothing for me but a new dress for her and  a bunch of memories 🙂

Today’s card is inspiration from Marge at the Allentown show.  She suggested the bows and I loved the idea so had to do it.  Thanks  Marge!  I really want to change the twine to a blue twine too 🙂

Catching Up

We are catching up a little bit at a time…our trucks have been going in to town for service and so that takes up way too much time.  I feel like every time I turn around we are going to town to take a car in to be worked on 🙂  LIFE! So today we have to go back to town (after two trips yesterday) to pick up my truck.

We got all the special orders out yesterday.  So if you special ordered a stamp at Allentown you should have it on Friday or Saturday.  Most of the internet orders have gone out…I still have a couple I’m working on.  They will go out today.

We do have the toy hauler cleaned out, sheets & towels washed and put back in.  Refridge emptied and cleaned out.  Gasp!  it’s like cleaning a second home 🙂  Now comes the  laundry and cleaning of the house and shop.  What can I say…LIFE!

Ok so it really helps to have a really cool calendar to cut up!  Love the craft paper calendar.  This card makes me think of spring!  I believe today is the first day of spring.  Not that New England area feels like spring but WI is feeling a little springy!

Good Evening!  I had a long day today working on paperwork.  Not my favorite thing to do 😦

but I got these fabulous coupons from our local store called Younkers.  $50 off a $50 purchase and $35 off a $35 purchase!! How crazy is that?  So what does a girl do when she’s tired and crabby!??  GO Shopping!  5 shirts – 9 pair of socks all for $15 bucks!  so when the shirts went in the closet…five shirts went in the goodwill box.  So I’m not so crabby any more 🙂

Friendship, Hello, Just a Note, smile, Thinking of You

Good Evening!  I hope you are all warm and cozy somewhere because it seems like most of us are in very cold weather.  We have arrived in Lebanon, IN so we are very close to Indianapolis.  It was 32 degrees in the trailer when we stopped but we got the heater turned on and went in for some supper. When we came back it was already up to 50 degrees so I think we will survive 🙂

I accidentally left my cards for the blog at home but luckily I had already taken the pictures…I just don’t have the numbers of the stamps 😦

Wednesday’s Card

hello!  A couple of new stamps to showcase today 🙂  Sometimes when we have good selling stamps or stamps that we really like we make them in different sizes.  Our C213 KB’s Lightbulb is one of our best sellers and so we made it a little bigger and a little smaller.

Stamps Used:  G337 KB’s Lightbulb Lg, E277 Bright Spot World.  We do plan to make this stamp again but instead of the word the…we will use a…  you are a bright spot in my world.

love the new stamps…just want to stamp instead of making stamps 🙂

So just a little side note…I have been having trouble with pain in my thumbs and my sister had thumb surgery  8 years ago and the symptoms were mimicking hers.  Today I went to the hand surgeon.  Although I do not need surgery now…I will at sometime in the future.  Today I was given an injection of cortisone in the thumb joint.  This will help hold off surgery.  I was hoping it was all in my head but I knew the pain was getting worse.  But glad to know that it can be fixed!
