One more post before Valentine’s Day! Here we have two cards. One simple one with three hearts and a Thinking of you. The other using the frog with flying hearts. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
I have had both covid vaccines (since a front line health care worker) and many of our patients have been getting them so maybe we are on our way to a new normal. MayBEE it will be a good year ahead!
Good Morning and happy Friday! Here is a quick card with the “wishing you” stamped on the front and the rest on the inside. Also, the flag stamp has three flags but we only used the largest one. White paper is dull glossy. Click on links below to see the stamps on our website.
I love all things bees! I’m loving our new stamps with all the bee sayings. So much fun. I recently put up a bee house in the yard and they are just so cute.
I made a bunch of extra tops for these cards depending on if I want the card from Kevin and I or just from me.
So I originally made the stamps with we but then wanted one with an I only. So the set will come with both a we and an I so you can change it up. Easy to do with a MISTI.
Happy Monday! Here we used the triple flag across the top versus on the paper it was designed to go with. Wanted to show it can be used in multiple ways!
Below is what we used to create the splatter background. Put a few drops on a paint brush and tap glass container with brush over the paper. We use another piece of scrap paper to cover the container to prevent splatter on the surrounding area.
There is always a need for birthday cards! I love these colors. I love the new updated birthday wishes stamps. Sometime you just need a refresh on your ordinary stamps!
Happy Monday and first day of February! We have been experimenting with alcohol inks again. For this one we used a paper heart that we cut out and splattered alcohol ink over, creating this empty space that we stamped the phrase in. Then added the coffee cup with a pop up and the ribbon.
Happy Friday! We have a retirement bib card this afternoon. This one is really easy to put together. We stamped the dotted circle first, then punched it out with a 1-3/4” circle punch, then stamped the coffee cup, and colored the cup with copic markers. For the overlay, we stamped and colored the coffee beans across the bottom and stamped the retirement saying above. Then glued the circle and overlay on the bib card and added ribbon. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Hello! We have another card today. The inspiration for this one came from Pinterest and now I can’t find the card but it had diagonal lines across with tiny hearts at each intersection. When I saw it, I thought of this Solid Heart and how I could adapt it. Still want to work with other variations but like how this one turned out.
Sometimes a sympathy card is needed unexpectedly. This one came together very quickly. We used dull glossy paper again so did allow for time to dry before coloring the flowers but still didn’t take long. The grass under the flower was created with a marker. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!
Almost halfway through the week! Today we have a quick and easy card with the birthday candles. We stamped the birthday phrase first on a 3.75”x5” swatch of dull gloss paper to allow time to dry. Then stamped the blue square on a scrap piece large enough, then cut it out with scissors, and then stamped the candles. Colored the candles after letting it dry for a little. Since we used dull Gloss paper, it needs a little extra time. Then we glued the paper swatches on the card, added pop up dots to square before putting above the birthday phrase. Added ribbon and that’s it!
