Good Evening! We are sad to be heading back to work tomorrow 😢 less time for stamping.
Tonight’s card is the same as yesterday’s layout with a color change and word change ( needed another sympathy card!) The colors are beautiful and the picture doesn’t do it justice!
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th! Also, in the holiday excitement and the projects we had started, I forgot the links in my previous post so I have included them at the bottom on this post.
A lot of flower cards coming! The garden is full of blooms and is so inspiring. The dahlias that we have in the front of the house are just gorgeous! They are annuals in our area but because they are in pots, we overwinter them in the heated garage and in the spring pull them out again. They’ve done great and I love the pink and yellow colors! So happy we get to see them year after year. 😊
It’s vacation around here so I’ve been able to do a little stamping. I needed a birthday card but I was, like always, late! I think I use the bee-lated birthday stamp the most of all my stamps.
I was a little annoyed by some fuzz that got on my “L” the of the stamp and made a funny mark. Buts it’s hand stamped right??!? Doesn’t need to be perfect. I could put an insert in and re-stamp it. I still might do that!
I also needed to increase my with sympathy card stash since my parents generation has been leaving this earth. Hopefully I will find the time to blog them.
I am purging things and cleaning out drawers and cupboards while on vacation. It’s a much needed project and very satisfying.
Hope this holiday finds you all well and with a little stamping time!
This is a repeat layout that I love! It’s very simple and comes together quickly. Links for stamps are below and links to two previous blog posts with this rose and layout. I have several more cards in progress with different styles and hopefully I’ll get back to stamping soon. Happy Wednesday!
It was lovely to hear from many of you and we miss seeing you all on the road!
Here is a quick card for someone who has a new home. I’m a little disappointed with the glue spots on the background paper and need to remember to use less but love the simple look and the colors.
We have been quiet lately- just a lot of life going on! We had a big snowstorm this last week so I got a little bit of stamping in.
I decided to clean my desk and that is really what started the stamping. I started putting all the pieces together that were sitting on my desk. Truth is…I still have a bunch of pieces on my desk.
We did make this into a card kit. The cards are 3×5 Bar 4 size.
Good Afternoon! We have uploaded another card kit. This one is so pretty! We always need birthday cards so it’s another birthday card. you have the option to purchase the pieces and do your own embossing and cutting out or a kit with it all cut out and embossed.
Happy Saturday! Quick post with two birthday cards, both have candles in a square. On the first card, the background was created with alcohol inks. Create a water bath and drop alcohol inks into it, then gently lay the paper on top, quickly remove. I dry mine between paper towels but you could use old towels. They will stain though! And each result is different! It is hard to predict how the colors will look but sometimes I make a few and set aside for later use when it works with what I am working on. The textured paper on both cards is called white felt. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend and stamp links are below!
Hello. Thought I would let you know what I’ve been working on lately! I had a bunch of pieces on my desk and thought I’d better put them together.
A bit of an update… it does take us 7/10 business days to get orders out these days. With both Kevin and I working full time at “real jobs” making stamps becomes the side job 🤪
We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. It was beautiful. We’ve not had much snow this year. I hope I didn’t jinx it by talking about it.
Just an update on how things are going with us. We are working on all the orders that we have been behind on! If you are waiting on an order they will all be out by Monday.
I received this card this week from my friend Joanne. I love it! I have always been a fan of simple cards. Joanne told me she learned the background technique from Gina K.
Stamps Used: H16 Floral Garden and C132 Thinking of You.
Unfortunately I was unable to do links for the stamps! 🤷♀️ technology is sometimes a mystery!
I’m going to get back to work on those orders so I can get them all out! Hope you are all having a good weekend.
This is the same layout as the just for you birthday card from a few weeks ago. I also want to stamp one with alternating orange and purple on the rose. These cards come together so quick and I love all the combo possibilities. Quick reminder, we are off this week and any orders that come in during this time will ship after Feb. 9th. Thank you for your patience!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We are looking forward to company coming today and have lots to do! We have also had an unexpected family emergency and will need to take some time. Please note, orders placed this week, will not ship until after Feb. 9th. Thank you for your patience!
Here is another birthday card with four stamps. I used scissors to cut out the square with birthday wishes and the potted aloe plant has a cutting die. The background calendar paper is recycled from an old wall calendar (originally from Target). I kept it to reuse because I love the gray.
