Friendship, Hello, Just a Note, smile, Thinking of You

Good Evening!  I hope you are all warm and cozy somewhere because it seems like most of us are in very cold weather.  We have arrived in Lebanon, IN so we are very close to Indianapolis.  It was 32 degrees in the trailer when we stopped but we got the heater turned on and went in for some supper. When we came back it was already up to 50 degrees so I think we will survive 🙂

I accidentally left my cards for the blog at home but luckily I had already taken the pictures…I just don’t have the numbers of the stamps 😦

Freezing

so we continue with really cold weather here in Green Bay.  Woke up to 0 degrees.  I must be getting used to it since I  quit wearing a coat to the shop and I just run really fast 🙂

We are hoping to finish up the Indy stamps today…not sure it’s possible since we have a long way to go but I like lofty goals.

Stamps Used:  A190 Tiny Heart, F210 Giga Rectangle Frame, EE27 Whumsy Daisy.

Have a super weekend!

happy day

happy day

Good Monday Morning to You!  It’s very cold here today in WI…somewhere are 15 degrees which with the wind is pretty cold 🙂  Thinking of the New England area and their snowstorm coming…so be safe out there.

Today’s card comes from my friend Michelle who designs cards for several companies and does an awesome job!  I love the way she thinks.  If you notice the leaves in the background of this flower…it is actually the leaf from the Lily of the Valley!  Amazing…if you remember she’s the one who took the small father’s day tie and made it into a flower.  She definitely thinks outside the box 🙂

Stamps Used:  BB15 Solid & Open Daisy, EE46 Lily of the Valley Lg, D211 Happy in my Day.

We are packing and getting ready to leave for GA & FL on Wednesday so not much time left at home.

Kathy

I hope you had a one-of-a-kind day!  Mine flew way too fast.

Todays card comes from Kathy in SC!  Love it! I love the lily of the valley stamp in any way, shape, or form.  I never thought to use the one of a kind stamp on the outside of a card but it’s great. I also love getting cards in the mail.  There is something so special about it.  Just the effort and the thought make it special.  It is such a great way to send a “pick me up” to someone.  I think that is one of the great side benefits to this rubber stamping hobby.

Well it’s off to bed so I can get up early.  The floor is coming along nicely, the stamps are getting made but my house is a MESS!  Need to do something about that…I can only take chaos so long 🙂

All Starts Over Again!

Friendship, Hello, Just a Note, smile, Thinking of You

Well, we are back from Minneapolis where we had a  GREAT time and the fun just continues…We leave Thursday for Collinsville, IL so just three days to make stamps.  We are going to be busy little beavers…now if we could get some our nephews to mow grass…that would help 🙂  Here is a great card from Karissa

It’s good to be happy!  We were so happy to spend the weekend with Karissa and the Minneapolis people!  I had better get to work!

Ready to Go!

Friendship, Hello, smile, Thinking of You

rosy

Everything is rosy here since I am all packed and ready!  With my time this afternoon I will be getting some new make n takes together.  My brother machine helped me get ready!  That machine is amazing!  I needed to punch 120- 2.5″ scallop circles and 240- 1.25″ scallop circles for our project on Friday night in Orlando.  That would take forever!  So I loaded the scallops in my brother machine and in 12 minutes I had 81-1.25″ Scallop circles!  AND during that 12 minutes I was doing something else productive!

Here is what it looked like:

red scallops 1

red scallops 2

they other awesome thing….there is literally no waste!  The cuts are so close together.

You Color my World

Friendship, Hello, Just a Note, Thinking of You

color world

My world is looking colorful today!  I got up early (5 am!) and felt refreshed and so happy to putting on my painting clothes!  Not sure what I’m painting today but I’m painting something!  Kevin thinks I should finish painting his gaming console that I started quite awhile ago and then we got busy.   When we have a little time between shows we usually work in the shop from 8 am to noon and then the rest of the day is spent catching up on all the things that don’t get done when we are busy.  So I’m off to get my work done and then my projects!

Spectacular Day!

Hello, Thinking of You

glasses

I really hope your weekend is Spectacular!!  We are leaving to go set up here in West Springfield, MA!  It’s down to breakfast, then load the truck (all the product that was shipped to hotel and priced last night needs to go back in the truck) and then the 30 minute commute up to the Eastern States Expo Center.  So we are off and running…. have a spectacular weekend!

Home Sweet Home

Thinking of You

#23We have finally made it HOME!

After a very long weekend in Portland, OR (although we  had an awesome time at the show!) and a very long drive we made it safely home again this afternoon.  We had good traveling weather except for a little rain in Minnesota yesterday evening.  We are very glad to be sleeping in our own bed tonight.   But…no rest for the wicked…we leave again in one week for the West Springfield, MA show.  so it’s off to bed so we can get up early and start working on all the orders that have piled up over the long holiday weekend!
