Hello, Just a Note

So I decided I better blog this morning before I start my day since my day is full!  With only 3 1/2 days to prepare for another show it makes things a little complicated.   Kevin and I do everything ourselves!

Love this bright and cheery card.  I had to add the little  hearts because I got ink from my hands all over my card 😦  I also like the skinny chevron with the wider chevron!

Baby Cards

just a quick post tonight before I forget!  We arrived home from Akron, OH sometime around 2- 2:30 pm, picked up the dog from the kennel, had some lunch/supper, started the laundry, and then headed out to the shop to get  some work done!  We had some orders that had come in while we were gone and  a few special orders from the show and then we need to get ready for the Sayner,  WI show that is this weekend.  SO a busy week ahead!  🙂  Hope your Monday was a good one.

Birthday

so I have a pile of yellow paint chip samples since I have been painting.  I don’t feel right about going and getting paint chips for stamping unless I’m actually going to be painting.   Since I was looking for a yellow paint – I had to go and get yellow paint chip samples so I have a few. 🙂  A clean and simple card.  I did cut off the ends of the paint chip even with the card.

Friendship, Just a Note

We have been so busy taking care of the last minute things for the Akron,  OH show that I forgot to blog yesterday!  I actually sat down at the computer to do it and got side tracked by some paper work.

We are headed to Akron, OH in the morning.  The show is well run and well attended so we are looking forward to a busy weekend.  For our customers that live in OH;  we will have a few of the handmade in OH stamps with us.  They look like this:

sistersanother fabulous card from Michelle!  My folks headed home today so we made stamps all day long!  Almost forgot to blog we were so busy trying to get things done for the show next week in Akron, OH.  We still have a quite a bit to do so we’ll be busy next week too!  Have a great weekend!  The weather should be GREAT!

Good Morning!  Another great card today from Michelle!  I love her use of color.  We worked in the shop this morning and now we are headed out thrift store shopping with my Mom and Dad.  I have most of my projects done and have been itching to go to the thrift stores.  So hopefully we’ll find some good bargains today!

The snow is mostly gone and we have sunshine today so a perfect WI day!

so here is another awesome card from Michelle!  She puts a ton of work into her cards and it sure shows!  Love them!  Love how she sewed the edge of this card.  I have a sewing machine in my studio but it is not completely set up but I’m getting inspired by these cards.  I also like how she used the swiss dot stamps with a circle die cut!

Lots going on today…we have special company coming today.  One of our 95 year old ministers and his great nephew and his great great nephew.  What a privilege! My parent are coming to spend a couple of days 🙂  Happy they are feeling well enough to travel.  The laundry room is almost done!!!!  Very, very close!  I need to order a door today since we are changing the doors in the house because they are just cheap standard grade ugly doors.  Oh and can’t forget the trip to the accountant to file taxes and send the good old USA a check!  Have a great day hope your having a special day too!

Mon April 14th

ok Mother Nature we thought you should know we are really done with SNOW!  And yes this was my commute to work this morning!  The pictures don’t due it justice.  The wind was incredible so the snow was flying all over the place, the driveway is a sheet of ice and it’s hard to tell in the picture but the shop is actually down a little hill.  gross!  I guess Friday has more snow in the forecast!  I wanted to unload the trailer today so that I could order my MNT paper but I guess that will have to wait for another day.

My friend, Michelle, who has a blog inspiration blooms.blogspot.com made me some cards that are adorable!  I really wanted to send some of them to my friends they are so adorable but I guess they better go in the booth so you all can enjoy too!

Baby Cards

just a quick post today since my schedule is a little full!  Here is a simple baby card.  I think the doily lace punch from martha stewart is probably one of my favorite punches!  I’ve worn a couple of them out already.  just adds a girly touch!

Have a great weekend!  I hope to get the final touches done to complete the laundry room re-do.  Painting pegboard, cleaning out the closet, rebuilding the shelves and painting the inside of it.  Cover the blinds with fabric.  Re-purpose an old end table into the cat’s feeding station.  That should about do it! 🙂
