Good Morning! We had a fabulous time in Sayner, WI this weekend. Now the mad dash to Portland, OR. We leave this afternoon after we frantically make all the stamps we sold out of this weekend. 🙂 it’s good to be busy!

It’s Friday! How awesome is that?! We are looking forward to a weekend off and just doing projects around the house. We have a floor in the mudroom that we need to grout and knobs to put on. The next project is taking out some cabinets in the kitchen. That might be too big of a project for this weekend. And of course, the Green Bay Packers play the Seattle Seahawks this weekend so Go Pack GO! Have a great weekend.
I really do love winter! Especially when it is at least 25 degrees outside…I like that much better than below freezing 🙂 I love this winter card with the little red cardinal.

What a cool card? So much fun…brand new stamps! I’ve had them a couple of days but too busy with orders to touch them. I finally got all the orders out today so I could touch the new stamps 🙂
I found a new cool product…I wasn’t sure about it but I really like it. It’s called Stick It. It is a sheet of double sided tape that is made for dies. You put it on the paper, then cut the paper, and then position the cut die very easily. A little hard to explain. It is re-positionable to begin with then become permanent which is a great feature. I should be able to demo it in Grapevine and at the shows this year. I was able to apply these little glasses very easily with it. We will also be carrying a new brand (to us) called Taylored Expressions in the booth this year. We are carrying their embossing folders and a few of the dies.
We have to make our own snow for Christmas! It’s raining! Yesterday was the first day of Winter but the long johns have come off and we have no snow. We got some things done this weekend. Well, not a lot but we did manage to tile the mudroom. So now we just need to get it grouted before all our company comes 🙂

We are finishing up on our cling mount displays today. Kevin has been peeling up the floor in the mudroom to get ready for tiling it…maybe tomorrow 🙂
Have a funny story to tell you about Kevin 🙂 He was cutting the peg board in half for the displays and he says to me…”this one is a little crooked ” So I say “why is it crooked?” He’s says “well, I shut my eyes.” My reply “YOU WHAT!??” Seriously why would you shut your eyes while cutting with a saw 🙂 Apparently he didn’t put goggles on and the sawdust was flying. Lucky he still has all his fingers.

Our weather is sunny and nice but VERY cold! My shower this morning was pretty luke warm. Our bathroom is the farthest room from the water heater and when it is really cold the water just never gets too warm. There are worse things in life than a warm shower! 🙂 so not complaining just observing 🙂

Karissa send me this card and I love how the brother machine cuts out the snowman…so precise and nice. We did some work this weekend on my pantry room/mudroom! We have a little ways yet to go…finish edges on the shelves, knobs, and the crown molding…but it’s looking great!

We have been working on getting stamps ready for Grapevine TX which is only 5 weeks away. Since we are designing new displays I’m trying to get a head start. We have also continued to work on the Mudroom/Pantry which is coming along nicely but slowly!

We got a little dusting of snow yesterday…makes everything look fresh and new 🙂 We are headed out to the shop to put in a few hours of work.
We ordered some new displays for the cling mounted stamps. Our current set up and tear down for the displays is pretty time consuming. We are hoping this new set up will be quick and easy. I can always dream 🙂 We spent a lot of time yesterday planning and configuring the new set up. Hope it works.
