die cuts w card

so for those of who have been wondering if I ever cut my tripe circle die and the answer is YES!  It is so much more useful this way.  You can do it without cutting the die but to much fussiness for me!!  I like quick and easy.  I don’t have time to monkey around 🙂  Love cutting printed paper card!

yellow card

oh so easy!!  Need to light a fire under me today so that I can get my re-model on the laundry room done!  Using muscles that don’t get used so often so a little creaky today.  Have a great weekend and hopefully my project will be almost done.

st-patsHappy St. Patrick’s Day!  and Happy Birthday to my nephew Blake!

We had an awesome time in Allentown, PA.  Those ladies there are always good to us!  We finally got home around 6:30 pm after 12.5 hours travel today and 5 hours yesterday.  Not too bad 🙂  We had thought to do nothing tomorrow but issues and orders await us!  It’s good to be home!

We will have a nice relaxing evening and then be relaxed and ready to go in the morning.  Hope you’ve enjoyed your day today and have either eaten or drunk something GREEN!

take time to smell the coffee

Uncategorized

I love these little coffee cups stamped on patterned papers. To add another layer, stamp it on white paper and brown paper for the top and sleeve of the cup and cut out each section. I like to use scrap to try to utilize each piece. Stamps used: E263 Take time to smell the coffee!, G316 KB’s Cappuccino Cup Lg, A190 Tiny Solid Heart

Can’t get enough of this snowman!

KB here today since my folks are in Indianapolis getting ready for the Heirloom show. Today, I have to share this cute handmade in MN stamp! I can’t wait to use it to make tags for all the little handmade stuff I’ve been working on. Mostly bandana bibs (or drool catchers as I sometimes call them) for all my friends having babies.

Here is a photo of what the bandana bibs look like with the tags I am currently using. There are a ton of tutorials online as to how to make them. I learned about them from a friend who makes them for her little one and they are a fun gift to give.

Stamp used on the little tag: DD53 KB’s Baby Giraffe

Now to the card, this little snowman is so darling and I think he matches the font and words so well. Sorry, it is a bit hard to tell but the card is a pearlescent white which is really pretty and shimmers. Thought about adding something more but liked the simplicity too much.

IMG_0918Stamps used on the card: EE47 and F233 which are not online yet but will hopefully be up soon or if you are in Indianapolis they will be in the booth. So go check it out!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Karissa’s Sympathy

sympathy floral gardenKarissa needed a sympathy card the other day and so this is what she came up with.  I really like it because it’s more manly and yet simple.

We leave for Carson, CA in the morning.  Karissa is joining us out in Carson to help with the show.  The weather out here is perfect!  Sonya was telling me about putting plastic on her windows (keeps the cold out!) and here we sit in 65-75 degree weather.  Glad for a little break from cold weather.  Have a great day!

Tonight finds us in Amarillo, TX!  Whew it has been a LONG drive!  We picked up  Kevin’s sister Tamara in Kansas City, MO on Sunday (after arriving at 11:20 pm the night before) and had a big day and then drove 7 hours or so to Tulsa, OK while listening to the Packers vs. the Vikings game.  Glad for a big win!  Monday morning found us traveling to Muskogee, OK to visit Aunt Gerri who Kevin has never met before and then off to Amarillo.  Tomorrow is a big day of 12 hours travel so we hope to be up very early and be off.

This snowman card is one of my favorites!  I’m hoping to make it into a make n take for Madison.  Not sure what words I want yet….maybe my coolest friend!

I have been plagued with some sort of plugged ear; from what I have no idea.  It has happened maybe three or four times in the last few years but quite troublesome 🙂  I’ve been hot packing it, putting drops in it, taking medication and nothing seems to help.  Ugh!  Ready for it to go bother someone else!

Hope your Monday was good. you may not hear from me  tomorrow depending on travel 🙂
