You’ve probably been wondering where we have been??! Life does get complicated. We lost our Mother last month. She had been failing for a few months so we had been helping Dad. We still have lots going on but who doesn’t? I still love to stamp when I have time. Winter is coming so I always think there is more time in Winter.

I had a patient (I work for an eye doctor) give me something for helping him – really just for doing my job😊 but I wanted to send him a thank you card. Oh it was so much fun to do! Nothing fancy but simple and quick.

This is the same layout as the just for you birthday card from a few weeks ago. I also want to stamp one with alternating orange and purple on the rose. Sharing two simple cards tonight. Both stamped on dull gloss paper and colored with copic markers. The grass on the lamb card was made with marker but the set does come with a grass stamp. I just didn’t use it for this card because it would have been too much for the layout. Although I might need to try some variations and you could give me your opinions! All for now, links are below.

Handmade cards make wonderful gifts! I had a stash of cards ready and picked a few to give to a neighbor as a thank you gift along with a mum flower. She loved them and now I’m inspired to make more as soon as I have more energy again!

I’ve needed to make some thank you cards lately to thank people for all their help during my surgeries and recoveries. Recovery goes a bit too slow for me – anxious to be feeling better but was fun to make a few cards. Today was really my first day alone – everyone back to work or gone so was able to just enjoy sitting at my desk and coloring!

One of my favorite stamps sets the CMO104 Trio Aloe Vera and of course it’s matching Cutting Die CDCMO104 Trio Aloe Vera Cutting Die; I also love the size of this thank you- C332 Thank You fits in a 1.75” circle

I’ve been busy getting orders out today but needed to send a friend a thank you card. She sent us some really good banana bread! It needed to be quick and easy. And it needed to be flat so I could mail without issues.

I have had this cuddlebug folder forever and have never really been happy with how I made a card with it. But really love it in this layout!

Good Morning. I have an extra day off this week so I get to do some stamping! So much fun! I needed a thank you card and found this tag in my “stash” so I made into into a card. Hope you enjoy your weekend. We have sunshine here in Wisconsin today after a few dreary raining days.

Good Morning. I’ve been loving this new layout and have several cards in the works. I love when you find a layout and can get several ideas from it. It still takes time though to get all the images and colors right. I wish I did not need to grocery shop today! But I guess we still need to eat. 😜

Dull Glossy Paper, Frogs & Bugs, Thank You Cards

Happy Monday and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! These two bee cards were so fun to make. I dabbed the honeycomb stamp with a golden ink pad and a yellow ink pad to get the variation. Then I stamped it two more times without re-inking. On the oval, I rubbed the edge of the paper along the ink pad to add color. The bees are colored with a marker.
