Blue and green candle card – March 17, 2020

Birthday

Happy St. Patrick’s day! Sadly, we do not have a patty day card.πŸ˜† It snuck up on us! Instead, we have a birthday card to celebrate Blake’s (nephew) birthday! Hope everyone is doing well in these crazy times we live in.

Happy birthday border – March 11, 2020

Birthday, flowers

Good Morning! For this card we stamped the squares, then the flowers and cut around with a scissors. The trickiest part is stamping the happy birthday border. Since it is long, important not to rock and give even pressure along. Or if you have cling with a MISTI, it is much easier!

Birthday, Owls

We always love an owl card and here we used several stamps in the CS105 set. Also, used two older stamps: a party hat and the bitty block to add a background.

Celebrating you! – February 28, 2020

Birthday

This was a fun card to make and a bit of an experiment. For the background, I used dull gloss paper and rubbed the edges with a light blue ink pad, then stamped rows and columns of the bitty block across the paper. Followed with the circle in green. Thought it was still missing something, so added the orange lines. Used Copic markers to color the cupcake. My constant struggle with the dull gloss is not allowing enough time to dry. Might need to take a heat gun to it! A lot of birthdays are coming up so time to get stamping πŸ€ͺ, happy Friday! πŸŽ‰

Birthday succulent/aloe card – February 22, 2020

alcohol ink, Birthday

Missed yesterday so thought we’d make it up today. On this card, we used the aloe trio and instead of using them separately, kept them together. For the frame we used alcohol inks. Started with a 5.25×4″ piece of paper then cut out the inside by .25” all around. A bit complicated but I’m loving the effect!

Enjoy the Saturday!

Another year older – January 30, 2020

Birthday, Owls

Cards for men always seem to be a challenge. This one is quick and easy though. Plaid paper found in a pack from Michaels (I believe.. can’t quite remember where I bought it) and stamps are in a set (CS107). We have a busy day ahead so keeping it short, happy Thursday!
