Hello! Here is a fun birthday card. The cake was colored with alcohol inks and the background was created with an ink pad rubbed on dull gloss paper. Links to paper and stamps are below!

Pretty! What black ink do you use to stamp the image? I find my black ink runs when I use dull glossy and Coptic markers. I’m using a Gina K ink for alcohol markers.

Hi Marlene! When I use full gloss I use it in my misti. I stamp first with black memento ink. And let it DRY! I have several misti’s so I just set them aside. Color with my copies without moving out of the misti. I then restamp with black versafine ink. It’s a little time consuming but I love the results!

Hmmm, okay, I’ll try Memento. I have been letting it dry, but as soon as I start to color, it smears the black and alters the Copic color. Good idea to restamp with versafine. I’ll give that a try. Thanks!
