With Sympathy

love 1love 2good afternoon 🙂  the house is clean and it’s time to go to work!  Here is my sympathy sending love card.  I think I might try a valentine’s day card with the sending love too! It is such a useful little stamp.  One thing interesting about this card is that I used two different sizes of 3-d-dots and I don’t mean large or small but thickness.  On the flowers I put 1/16″ foam dots and then on the sending love a little higher at 1/8″  Nice to have both sizes!

It is really really really cold here!   Can’t even run to the shop without a coat.  My phone said 3 degrees today and we are going to be unloading the trailer.   Right, we should have done it when it was a little warmer but that’s what snow pants, winter boats, and parka’s are for!

Snowman, Thank You Cards

snowman 1snowman 2Monday Morning it is!  The weekends go sooooo fast!  I’m sending thanks this morning.  I really love the new fun cubes.  We are working on more too!  The sending fun cube is so useful for all kinds of things.  Tomorrow you’ll see it on a Christmas card.  Here’s what it looks like:

DD59I also need to make another sympathy card and I’m think of using the sending love.

Well it is cold here!  Minnesota is even colder and Karissa had no heat at her house yesterday.  The landlord apparently called everybody and everybody was busy.  She bought a space heater and heated up some rice pads for inside her bed.  She said it was 46 degrees in the house- that’s cold!  I hope she survived it!

Stamps Used:  JJ16 KB’s Snowman w/ Mouse border, DD60 1.00/1.25 Circles & Dots, C171 KB’s Snowflake, A212 KB’s Snowflake, DD59 Sending Fun Cube, F26 Your Thoughtfulness

so I went to the post office yesterday and I came home with a big smile (the guy who almost hit me going through the new round about on the way didn’t even make me lose my smile) and this is why…

go pack goSandy, an Endless Creations and Packer Fan, sent me this little package.  Anyone who follows NFL football probably knows that the Green Bay Packers (our team!) is in big trouble with out quarterback Aaron Rodgers out the last five weeks and maybe more??  We have not won a game since so I love the sign almost as much as I love the scarf!  Thank You Sandy and Byron!

keep calm

how cool is this???  I’m still smiling!

Christmas Cards

MC 1

MC 2here’s the same pattern card as yesterday but using a much different stamp.  The stamps actually looks like this:

G205-[Converted]I just stamped the image and then punched out the circles in the areas that I wanted.  Makes the stamp look completely different.

Stamps Used:  G205 KB’s Snowman Scene, Sm; F72 Merry Christmas Vertical

almost have my paperwork done!  Can’t wait.  I need to get the projects in the garage done so that I can then put the displays in the garage so they can all be re-worked.  We re-do all the displays and move the stamps around.  Not my favorite job but keeps the displays fresh.  House cleaning today before finishing the paperwork. Have a great day we are almost to the weekend.

Christmas Cards

Here is an awesome Christmas card using the three circle die by Die-namics.  I think it’s a cool die but it has limitations.  I wanted a die that just cut three circles but this one cuts a frame around the three circles and then rounds the edges.  I would rather have one that just does the three circles because I can frame it and round the corners.  Then I can frame it however I would like 🙂  Our goal for 2014 is to introduce our own dies.  You’ll see a die with just three circles since it would be so useful!  I like when you can use things for more than just one way.  This particular die really has its limitations but I do like it.

Stamps Used:  G251 Double Solid Poinsettia Lg, C165 Double Solid Poinsettia Sm, E209 Christmas Reason Rejoice, F72 Merry Christmas Vertical Lg

snowso this is what we woke up to this morning out our bedroom window!  Snow!  How pretty!  I told you I would show you the fabric I stood in line so long for….

fabricit really was perfect!  the fabric is all washed and cut and I have about 15 squares sewn,  just 90 or so to go!  well I’d better get to work on that paperwork.  the desk is clear but all the balancing starts and the final paperwork for the accountant.  ugh.  my goal is to have it done by Friday 🙂 we’ll see how far I get.

Monday, Dec 2nd!

Coffee

bulb and branch

bulb and branch insideGood Monday Morning!  It’s going to be a great day!  My back/shoulder/rib pain is almost gone!  Yes, I’m so excited!  That was painful.  We decided that I must have pulled a rib muscle in the cold during set up for the Madison show.  I was pushing a cart and it hit a hole and I reached to grab it to keep it from tipping over.  While it didn’t hurt at the time…it became increasing uncomfortable over the next few days.  Any way that is our best guess!  I like the saying a body in motion stays in motion so I just kept moving even though I thought it was going to kill me 🙂

Here’s a very simple Christmas card this morning.  So easy and just a few steps!

Stamps Used:  EE41, CC48, G289, F51 & F181

So I did venture out on Black Friday…walked in to Joanne Fabrics and looked at all the people and walked out!  My winter project is a blue and yellow quilt.  I had blue fabric and yellow fabric but I wanted a really cool blue and yellow fabric.  I had cut all the fabric on thanksgiving but knew I needed more.  So I thought surely it can’t be that bad.  Well it was!  Then on Saturday Kevin need to go to town for something so I thought I would try Joannes again.  Not quite as bad so I started looking for fabric when a young girl said to me “do you have your ticket for cutting yet?”  no, I said and she said “you better get it if you have any hope of getting fabric cut!” So I went and got one.  It was B17.  There were currently on A22.  Good Grief!  so I just glanced through the fabric and found just the PERFECT fabric.  Groan!  So I sent Kevin on his way to do his errands and I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited.  Seriously 2 hours later I got my fabric cut!  But the fabric is perfect!  I love it!  Will take a picture tonight to show you guys.

so this is the mess that I’m going to clean up today….wish me luck.  hate paper work 😦 🙂
