Had a surprise visit from some friends this weekend who were in town for a funeral. It was so good to see them even though we didn’t have a lot of time. Luckily I was able to stamp this card when we realized they needed to leave in under ten minutes and didn’t have a card. Stamps used: A190 (heart), GG29 (flower), C145 (words)

Here is the same border from Frog Card 2 again! The frog and flies were filled in with Copic Markers.
This card reminds me to worry less and laugh more. This is one of my favorite sayings to put on a thinking of you card for someone going through tough times. Life is hard but there are so many things to find joy in and be thankful for. Here are some things that bring me joy, maybe you share some of them…
1. sitting in the sun with a good book
2. getting an unexpected card in the mail
3. hearing about animals being adopted into wonderful families
4. family reunions
5. getting a whiff of the basil in my kitchen window

Dictionary paper is really fun to work with! In this card I used a Martha Stewart paper punch to put a delicate edge on the dictionary paper and to match the scalloped circle. This is another birthday card with “Hope your birthday is unFROGettable!” (E215) on the inside.

It’s off to Novi, MI this am! My voice box is giving me a lot of trouble again (too many shows in a row!) so I’ve been banned from talking unless it’s necessary. That is very difficult for me! I had to take a picture of these two ladies, Joyce and Maryanne. I met them in my class on Saturday. They had never stamped before. Joyce just googled stamps and StampFest Orlando came up so they decided to come to the show and sign up for classes! Any one who has taken my Embossing Folders 102 class would realize how incredible it was that they ended up in my class. That class has tons of techniques in it that are not just ordinary stamping. I couldn’t believe it when they told me half way through the class that they had never stamped before. It was a good thing it was half way through and not at the beginning or I would have panicked. They did EXCELLENT! I was so proud of them and how they just followed instructions and made beautiful cards!
Love the simplicity of the mostly white…you’ll notice a few cards over the next few days with that theme in mind!
