Hello

Hello, Uncategorized

helloI love this pattern paper! The other side is pretty cool too!  Hopefully I’ll have some cards with it on tomorrow. We are frantically making stamps and since we have two shows without coming home we have a lot of stamps to make!  Hoped to be done today and trailer packed but didn’t happen 😦

Here’s the next phase of stamp making…we have to cook everything!  And that is only half done, much more to do! Now you see why stamps cost what they do when you consider all the steps to it 🙂

Christmas Cards, Snowman, Uncategorized

be merrySince Karissa has a busy Friday today…I told her I would blog for her.  I’ve been doing that alot lately.  Hmm wonder what’s up with her 🙂  Actually, a friend of hers is getting married today.  Lucky she sends me cards even on my days!

Love the silver snowflakes in the background.  I also like how Karissa colored her snowman with the light blue to match the background.  I think I’m going to sketch lift this card and show you on Monday.  And I have some more pictures of our stamping making process for Monday.

Stamps Used: C215 Be Merry; EE37 KB’s Plain Snowman Looking Up; AA27 Snowflakes; F210 Giga Rectangle

Have a good weekend!  So happy to be home this weekend 🙂

Owl Coaster

Uncategorized

coasters 2So I know that I’ve already posted the fox coaster and was wishing I had a single picture of the owl coaster but apparently not!  Can’t even take credit for them because Karissa has been making them.  Apparently she just got a branch that fell during a storm and cut it thin and is making them that way!  Sometimes the storms that knock all the branches down can be a good thing!  We are looking for a way to seal them…any ideas from anybody???

Happy Birthday Drew!

Drew Frog Card

I was going to blog the other sympathy card today but for some reason it’s not showing up in my computer and I already deleted off my phone!  So we’ll head to my nephews birthday!  I don’t think I’ve blogged it yet but if I did…maybe you could forgive me!?

I made this card for him and than promptly asked him if he was going to throw it away? and if he was I wanted it back for my booth!  🙂 Tee Hee!  What an Aunt!

We head back to MN for my grandfather funeral  tomorrow.  Visitation Thursday night and Friday Morning funeral.  I then will fly to St. Louis, MO and Kev will pick me up there for the Collinsville,  IL show Saturday and Sunday.  Thankful God gives us strength when we need it.  Stamps are all made and it’s only Wednesday at noon.  Will be exciting to see my brother Brad who didn’t make it back for Mark’s funeral but will be home for grandpas.  It sounds like most of the grandkids will make it back for the funeral…not all the great grandkids but at least the grandkids.  Grandpa had three daughters and one proceeded him in death when we were teenagers.  The two surviving daughters will have all their kids with them which is nice since it’s never easy to lose a parent no matter the age.

We’ll be back on Monday.  Have a great weekend.

Just a quick note this afternoon… As many know from the show in Cincinnati my 52 year old cousin Mark passed away on Friday.  Our hearts are aching for his family.  Today we got word that my 94 year old grandfather passed away.  We are feeling a little over whelmed with emotions and exhausted from the busy show and long drive home.  We are heading to Minnesota tonight for Mark’s funeral.  No plans have been my for my grandfather yet but expect to head back to Minnesota later in the week.  Therefore we won’t be blogging this week.  Thanks for your support!  Love Beth

wishing ewewishing ewe insideIt is hot here in WI!  Like really HOT!  88 degrees in studio already and it’s early!  Won’t be up here for long.  Love the lamb stamp.. the inside stamp actually has wishing you above what I stamped but I just didn’t ink them since the front is already wishing…

The new stamps are here and they are awesome!  Made a couple quick cards this morning which should show up on the blog next week.  If you live in the Minneapolis area be sure and come see us at the Bloomington show.

Studio Pics!

Uncategorized

studioWell I know many of you have been waiting for pics of the studio and since I can’t seem to take good pictures we’ll just have to make due with these!  This picture was taken from the top of the stairs…the room is narrow and long.  To the right by the couch is a little sitting area (which is full of boxes at present since I’m stuffing Make n Take’s!)  To the left is the postal area where we weigh and package stuff.  The middle area is for stamping!  Under the window is my desk where I do paper work and to the left of the desk is the desk that has the computer that goes on the road with us.  I’ll take pictures of how I have some of my stuff organized later

studio2this is where I stamp!  It works so well…I’m very happy with the way it turned out!

oh, happy day

Hello, Uncategorized

oh happy dayNot so happy day for me…my internet keeps going out and I finally gave up this morning and went shopping!  Why not? 🙂 Love the colors of this card…I think yellow is my new favorite color.  The bottom of the flags were done with a square punch.

We leave here today (thank goodness! with the internet problems, I’m delighted to leave this hotel) and head to Syracuse, NY in the morning.
