Update of Glasses Die Cut
Birthday
I know that I have blogged this card before but I wanted you all to know about this die cut from Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts/WeRMemory. We have used this on several cards in our booth and customers ask about it often. We have been trying to order them for the booth for several months now and we finally got through to WeR Memory and we were told they were all sold out and would no longer be available! Bummer. I know that the Brother ScanNCut has an eyeglass pattern that is really cute but we are unable to make it small enough to use on the owls. I got a phone call from WeR Memory the other day and they thought they had found 51 of them! I said I would take them all! I only got 8! We are bringing 6 of them to StampFest in Orlando, FL and the other 2 we put on the website. So if you have been wanting them here is the link

I’m not sure if this link will work 😦 sometimes I’m challenged with technology! Otherwise go to our website at http://www.shopec.com and go to the online store and search eyeglasses and it will come up!
We are some where in TN; Had some trouble with the internet at the hotel but I have been using my IPhone as a hot spot and it seems to be working. Amazing Technology! Good travel weather so far but long days in the truck.
Taste Good!
Birthdaygood evening! Orange and Red…I purchased some kitchen towels that were orange and red and thought it would make a great color combo for a card…and it does. Humid and Hot weather here in Green Bay today. No storms so far but thunderstorms are predicted for tonight.
This was a great gift that I got at my 50th birthday party! How fun is that?? Kevin has most of the candy eaten! I might have helped a little bit too!
Birthday Kite
BirthdayHere is one of our new stamps that just came out! Got to spend a few hours in my studio yesterday (spent the first 45 minutes cleaning up from the last time!) LOVING my new brother machine. I used it several times yesterday. At supper on Wednesday my future brother-in-law said to me “I love your brother!” I said which one since I have two but he was talking about my Scan and Cut!
I started putting the new stamps on the website last night but it will take a few more hours at the keyboard. I did get all the new handmade by different states on. We hope to take the weekend off and do some projects around the house so looking forward to that. Have a great Father’s day…so glad my kids have one of the greatest Dad’s in the world!
Another 3.5″x5.0″ Card
BirthdayMy 3.5″x5.0 cards continue! 40 is a lot of cards. For those of you just joining the blog…a friend of my had a 40th birthday and we were all asked to send her 40 of “something” small. I sent 40 3.5″x5.0 handmade cards which we have been showing on the blog over the past month or so. Interestingly the 40 cards took me about 4 hours to complete. I cut and scored all the card stock which can be time consuming. I also made some of them with the triple circle dies that I cut.
Maybe you noticed I forgot to blog yesterday! That happens sometimes 🙂 Finally got my house clean yesterday, spent 5 hours in the shop, made supper for the crew (my sister and her family live near by and we eat together on Wednesday nights!), went to town and changed the oil in the truck and rotated tires (ok so I just sat and read a book while someone else did all that!), purchased flowers to plant and bricks to edge a flower patch, got stain to stain the new door to the laundry room, went to bible study in the evening, and then to DQ with some friends! So all that leads to a big day today…a door to stain, that paint project from the other day still needs to be done, have to take truck to town to get the camper shell put on, need to put my 5 hours in the shop in, plant flowers and build the flower bed…:) too busy to get in trouble! Hope your week is going good
On the road Again!
Birthdaysimple and sweet birthday card for you this morning.
We are on the road again today…off for the New England area. Looking forward to seeing lots of our friends/customers out in that area. After this show my sister is getting married so we are looking forward to lots of family and friends in the month of June. Oh, and I turn 50 this month! gasp! Where did the time go?
Thank You Puyallup WA!
Birthday, Creatures, Friendship, Get Well Soon, Hello, Just a Note, Thinking of YouHere is another cute little 3.5″x5.0″ made with the sizzix triple flip it circle dies. This card was part of my 40 card birthday present.
We had an awesome time is Puyallup as usual. So fun to see all the regulars Darlene, Yara, Sharon, Linda and so many more! Had some awesome students in my classes and enjoyed our time here is WA! Getting ready to head to Portland, OR today. Washed some clothes, got my orders all together, and re-packed and got all organized again. Hope your week has started out good too!
Thurs May 8
Birthdayso I have a brother (actually a couple of them and they are both awesome!) but I have never sent them handmade cards for their birthdays. Imagine that!?? So this year with our new family fun cubes I made this for my older brother. The eye glasses are made from a pattern in the (of course ! My new favorite tool!) brother scan and cut machine! My only complaint with the machine is the mat! If they wear out this fast…I’m going to be trying some spray adhesive…although not recommend by brother.
I also took a spellbinder die and cut it out then cut an oval out of it like this…
then scanned it in to the machine and cut out the green pieces! Cool huh!??!
sorry about my messy desk! I have had a crazy couple of days! My Phone Died! and I can’t believe how much I rely on that dumb thing! It’s a little ridiculous but I was lost! All is found now with a shiny new phone and back in business! It was a good week for it to die since there was a Mother’s Day Special going on! Good to be a Mother!
Thurs April 2 4
Birthdayso I have a pile of yellow paint chip samples since I have been painting. I don’t feel right about going and getting paint chips for stamping unless I’m actually going to be painting. Since I was looking for a yellow paint – I had to go and get yellow paint chip samples so I have a few. 🙂 A clean and simple card. I did cut off the ends of the paint chip even with the card.
Here is a before picture of my laundry room…
The Re-Do1
sorry the pics are so dark! I will have to take more pictures…they didn’t look dark when I initially took them 😦
Off to Akron, OH!
Thurs April 17
Anniversary/Wedding, Birthday, Friendship, Mother's DayGood Morning! Another great card today from Michelle! I love her use of color. We worked in the shop this morning and now we are headed out thrift store shopping with my Mom and Dad. I have most of my projects done and have been itching to go to the thrift stores. So hopefully we’ll find some good bargains today!
The snow is mostly gone and we have sunshine today so a perfect WI day!

BirthdaySo I spend a lot of time on Pintrest! Oh yes. Love Pintrest! Found this latest sketch on it. I should have had both birds facing the same way…:( next time :). I also want to try this sketch in the other direction. Tomorrow! I dug out an old stamp that I used to use in my scrapbooks but thought it looked cool on this card. It is JJ14 and it fits the extra giga Marvy Uchida Scallop Circle punch. It really could go with any punch that is around 3.5″ since nothing is matching a scallop. The stamps that have the dots in the scallop are very specific to a punch type and manufacture but if nothing in the scallops than most dies/punches that are close will work.
other stamps used: A200 Happy Birthday; DD20 Circle Stitches; CC61 KB’s Birthday Birds; DD59 Sending Fun Cube.
Kevin and I have been working in the shop till around 1 pm and then going up to the house to do some remodeling! We are currently working on the Laundry Room. We have everything (except the carpet) tore out and the cabinets repainted. Today we are going to paint the ceiling, walls, and tear out the carpet! It’s so exciting! I’m usually in charge of supper for my sister and her family on Wednesday. It is a standing traditional that we love! Everything from the Laundry Room is currently in the Dining Room so I’m not sure where we are going to eat but love having them come for supper so don’t want to cancel.
Got another file cabinet painted!
bought some blue paint, some orange paint, some purple paint! These only take a couple hours to paint so they got interrupted by the laundry remodel! Love the pink and yes it is the same pink as our front door (which is being re-painted…looks much better on a file cabinet than the front door!)
Have a great “Hump” day 🙂
