I can tell you two things for sure about tiling. I dislike it! It is messy! Ugh. We are half done laying tile and should be able to start the grout in the morning. I will say this: it looks AWESOME. I’ll have pictures when all complete. Glad we are doing one room at a time instead of the entire lower floor.
Karissa was in my studio today making cards since she’s in Green Bay for a wedding this weekend. She also sent my internet orders out so my sister didn’t have to. Here’s the inside to this card…

We had an awesome weekend (with that quick trip to MN for Grant’s graduation) and everything in between. Kevin had been working on one of the vehicles for 9 days and he finally got it fixed! We had a lot of thunderstorms so had to be inside so we painted one of the bathrooms (another things off my list), cleaned out the laundry room, and cleaned out the kids bathroom cabinet. Lots of junk to garbage and goodwill. Feels good to clean things out.
This week our list is pretty long too! We have had a problem with the suburban (which pulls the trailer that brings all the stuff to the show) gas tank so Kevin is going to drop the tank and look at it this week. He needs to open the pool ( all the kids have been after him since the weather turned 90 degrees here!). My list includes stuffing Make n Takes and maybe design a new one. Get my paper work caught up. Clean the basement out (that’s a BIG one!). Paint the cabinet in the kitchen orange. So I guess I better get started….
Ok, so I know this is not an old book but old music works good too! I’m working on some anniversary stamps since they are in short supply! I took the B150 long Happy Anniversary and stamped in on top of each other with my Stamp a ma jig. Those of you who know me….know I LOVE my JIG!
One of my favorite things about this cards is that it shows how to use the space inside the swiss dot stamp wisely! If your stamp doesn’t quite fit just re-stamp your flower and raise that portion of the flower! We made it home today at around noon so glad to be home!
Such a sweet stamp! Love this inside saying too…again it can be used for several occasions!
Well, today is the last day for Kimbery’s Card Embossing Folder and CottageCutz together. I’ve been wanting to do these little owls because they are soooo cute. They are as fun as I expected. I love using up my small pieces of paper with these kind of dies. No Waste! Enjoy!
Goodness it’s hard to believe it is August already? Time Flies! We are off to Stampaway in Cincinnati, OH this morning. I have been using some of the new embossing folders that we got. This on comes from the Wedding set from Cuttlebug. Embossing folders are like shoes…you can never have enough!
Going all white for just a little bit! It’s hard to tell in the pictures but they are very striking and simple!
