We made it home from the southwest to rain, wind and what else? Snow this morning! We are glad to be home but much to catch up on. We will be at the Madison, WI One of a Kind Rubber Stamp Show this weekend so lots to do.

We are out in Carson, CA getting ready for the original rubber stamp convention. Getting ready to pick up Karissa from the airport and then set up for the show.
I’ve decided my ear problem is directly related to allergies. If I skip a Zyrtec pill for one day my ear plugs up and causes all kinds of problems. As a teenage I remember living on allergy pills and for years have had no problems but seem to be back to living on allergy pills. At least they help! Have a good weekend! Looking forward to heading home soon.
Karissa needed a sympathy card the other day and so this is what she came up with. I really like it because it’s more manly and yet simple.
We leave for Carson, CA in the morning. Karissa is joining us out in Carson to help with the show. The weather out here is perfect! Sonya was telling me about putting plastic on her windows (keeps the cold out!) and here we sit in 65-75 degree weather. Glad for a little break from cold weather. Have a great day!

We had a very big day today. Kevin’s Mom usually has a project or two for us to do while we are in Yuma. She didn’t really have any thing for us to do but on Monday she was in her fridge grumbling about how much she wanted a new one and how much she dislikes the current one…so we got up this morning and went fridge shopping. Very complicated when you have a small space to work in, so the cabinets above the fridge were taken out, new ones purchased and now the new fridge fits. whew! I’m ready for bed 🙂
a BIG thank you to Mesa, AZ for making our trip worthwhile! We had a great time this weekend! So fun to see Taylor, Julia, Scarlett, Mary Jane and Sarah to name just a few! Met a new friend named Beth who is a Bears Fan so I’m not too sure about her 🙂 The Green Bay Packers play the Bears in Monday Night Football tonight! That should be an exciting game.
We made it to Yuma, AZ last night around 11 pm. We will spend a few days with Kevin’s parents before heading to the Carson, CA show. Looking forward to that show since it has been about a year and a half since we have been there. Frantically stuffing make n takes this week since our Mesa crowd made lots of make n takes!
Karissa was in my studio today making cards since she’s in Green Bay for a wedding this weekend. She also sent my internet orders out so my sister didn’t have to. Here’s the inside to this card…

Here’s an adorable halloween card. One of the great things about our stamps is the mirror reverse. The stamps that have mirror reverse are usually a back to back stamp with no indexing. The ghost stamp for example has a ghost on one side and then when you flip it over there is another ghost but it is looking right instead of left. The ghost on this card is looking right and has a little heart on the left. The opposite side would have the ghost looking left and a little heart on the right. Make sense right? 🙂 The spider web used in this card also has a left and a right side.

on a up note…my ear is doing better! Thank goodness! Have a great halloween. Where we are at in Phoenix they get tons (upward of 150+) trick or treaters so we have an exciting night ahead of us.

Tonight finds us in Amarillo, TX! Whew it has been a LONG drive! We picked up Kevin’s sister Tamara in Kansas City, MO on Sunday (after arriving at 11:20 pm the night before) and had a big day and then drove 7 hours or so to Tulsa, OK while listening to the Packers vs. the Vikings game. Glad for a big win! Monday morning found us traveling to Muskogee, OK to visit Aunt Gerri who Kevin has never met before and then off to Amarillo. Tomorrow is a big day of 12 hours travel so we hope to be up very early and be off.
This snowman card is one of my favorites! I’m hoping to make it into a make n take for Madison. Not sure what words I want yet….maybe my coolest friend!
I have been plagued with some sort of plugged ear; from what I have no idea. It has happened maybe three or four times in the last few years but quite troublesome 🙂 I’ve been hot packing it, putting drops in it, taking medication and nothing seems to help. Ugh! Ready for it to go bother someone else!
