Well, my brother put on Facebook yesterday that there was snow in MN! Glad we are still in warm weather. We have arrived in Carson, CA for the Carson show. We will get set up tomorrow and then the show begins on Saturday. Hot and Dry is the forecast for the weekend which is good since our booth will be in the atrium this year.

Just a quick post today 🙂 We are going to do some painting today…one of my favorite things to do although I didn’t bring any painting clothes so I will have to just supervise. We hope to go do a little thrift shopping while the paint is drying. Two of my favorite things! 🙂

Good Afternoon! I know it’s hard to believe but I don’t think I’ve done a thing today! Just relaxing! Kevin is helping his Mom do some projects around the house and I’m doing nothing 🙂
I have aspirations to make some of these…
they are little scrubbies on the inside with cotton yarn around. My sister-in-law has been making them and I used one while doing dishes this morning (so I guess maybe I did SOMETHING!) and I really liked it. I think I’m going to make them round…not a fancy owl 🙂 I was doing it while waiting for the internet…it’s a little slow here but workable. I haven’t managed to get one done I keep taking it out. Tamara says to do it loose and I think I’m just doing it too tight. I got her to show me and now she has it half way done…that’s an easy way to get one done…have her do it!

Good Morning! We had a nice drive to Yuma (to Kevin’s Mom’s place!) last night and arrived at 10 pm. We need to get the truck’s oil and tires rotated so we plan to do that today. Then we are just going to enjoy the day with Kevin’s Mom and Sister…maybe do a few projects! 🙂

Good Morning! Happy Halloween!
Well, once again, Kevin was wide awake at 4:30 am this morning! Not adjusting to this time change thing at all this year. Our friends live about 40 miles from the show and with traffic being awful in Phoenix…Kevin decided at 5:00 am to get up since he was just laying there and head to where the show is before the traffic got bad. Still took us about 50 minutes to get to Mesa even though we left at 5:30 am!
So we are now sitting at Cracker Barrel enjoying a nice relaxing breakfast waiting for the text telling us we can set up. Hopefully we can get set up early and get back to our friends before the evening traffic!

Good Morning! We did make it to Flagstaff, AZ last night. We may be getting a little too old for this long travel. Boy were we tired! How is sitting in a truck doing nothing all day so tiring?? We’ve been having trouble with the time change (which has never happened before!)
We have only a few hours to go to get into Phoenix this morning so we are having a nice relaxing morning. Nice to sleep in but of course we were awake at 4:30 am Flagstaff time since that is 6:30 our time. So while it seems like sleeping in we are really up fairly early! We are heading to some friends of ours that we knew when we lived here so will be fun to catch up with old friends. Kevin and I actually met and married in Phoenix!

I was not able to get the new stamps on the internet since I kept losing internet connection along the way so I finally gave up. Maybe this morning…the internet seems fairly good at this hotel.
Good Morning! Kevin has us up at the crack of dawn…4:30 am I think that might even be hours before the crack of dawn! Since he couldn’t sleep he decided the truck should be moving 🙂 We made it to Clinton, OK last night and hope to make Flagstaff, AZ today.

It hump day! We are half way to the weekend!
We had a good day travel yesterday. The gas prices are nice! The lowest they have been in four years. If it wasn’t for the 30 mph wind that we were headed straight into we might have noticed a savings 🙂 We made it to Des Moines, IA last night at 8 pm and woke at 6 am and having a nice lazy morning before heading out.

yep, I’m behind on birthdays!
a day late and a dollar short…I think that’s the way we roll! We had hoped to leave on Sunday for the AZ & CA shows so that we could have a day or two with our friends in AZ. Not happening! We now just hope to get enough stamps made so we can leave on Tuesday am..VERY early 🙂 and they don’t make themselves so I’d better get rolling!
Since I am always behind…our belated birthday stamps come in very helpful!
