We had a hot day yesterday!  I think temps reached into the 90’s. I stayed cool in the shop but then I painted the cabinets for the mudroom and the garage was a little warm but the paint job is looking good!

Today is more of the same: stamps to be made, orders sent out and then I get to paint!

The boys are going to be adding some recessed lighting in the kitchen. And yes, this is a new added project!  We need to paint the ceiling before putting in the tile and we got to thinking about how dark the kitchen is and how to add more light. Kevin loves electrical work so he’s smiling today 😊

Good Morning!  It looks like a beautiful day here in WI. The sun is shining and few clouds – I think a good day for laundry on the line!

So Kevin and I have been working in the shop from 8-12 and then working on our “projects”! Yesterday while Kevin worked on the powder bathroom, I cleaned out the master bathroom linen closet and clothes closet. I have two large garbage bags for Goodwill. Not sure what today will bring but anxious to get going!

Lots of catch up cleaning going on around our house!  It seems like there is much that gets neglected when we travel. 

The remodeling continues!! Kevin has the toliet in. It’s so exciting to finally get that done. Now the new baseboard needs to be painted and put up, the crown molding is painted so it just needs to be put up and the door needs the new hardware put on and then put up!  Not much, right 😜

We made it home Sunday at 4 am!  No problems with the travel except a road detour which took some time.  We had a nice relaxing Sunday but hard at work today. 

All the special orders are done and all the wholesale orders are packed. Hoping to put the toilet in this evening since we are tired of running upstairs to go to the bathroom 😛

We had a great time at Stampaway! Glad for a few weeks off from conventions to re-arrange things in the booth.

so yesterday was a little crazy for us!  We finally arrived home from Novi, MI around 2:30 in the morning. Usually I sleep but because of the HUGE thunderstorms that went across the Midwest, Kevin needed me to stay awake to keep checking the radar. It was chasing us as we left MI and then we finally ran into it as we came back around the lake in Chicago. It was pretty ferocious!  The lightening was amazing but I would really rather not be driving in it with a really big RV!

Then I had to be up by 7 am to get my orders for accessories in only to be told they are so far behind right not that I have no hope of receiving my order for the Stampaway show this weekend. Such is life- should have stayed in bed 😊

It is hard to believe that the year is half over!  Time goes so fast. Yesterday did not go fast!  Lots and lots of traffic in Chicago. we almost went up and around but it’s 30 miles further but looking back we should have.  We arrived around 9:30 pm. Getting ready to go set up but need to get the teenager moving 😊

well my day has kind of gone array ! I feel like I got nothing accomplished. it didn’t help I went to town twice!  I had to get a new watch battery and just as I got home…Kevin sent me back to get some parts for his project!
