Thinking of You

Hello…It’s been an eventful day today!  Had my cyst taken off my neck this morning.  It took only 45 minutes from start to finish.  It was much less painful than ordering Apple,Inc. Care for our iPhones !  Kevin and Travis got IPhones recently and we wanted to put insurance on them.  If you knew how many times Travis’s last phone was washed …you would understand.  So at 7:30 this morning, I call Apple Care line.  I get put on hold…so after about 20 minutes…I decided to put the phone on speaker.  Bad Idea!  I accidentally  hung up!  So I begin again and 20 minutes later someone answers the phone but wrong department.  So I get transferred.  30 minutes later I get another person.  Wrong Department Again!  Well, needless to say I finally got insurance on the phones but it took about 90 minutes.

I have continued to use the Kimberly’s Card Embossing Folder and one die from CottageCutz.  Loving the CottageCutzs….thinking of halloween for tomorrow….. Beth

Birthday

Kevin got my new dishwasher in yesterday (took all day!) but it’s so exciting to have a dishwasher again!  My parents are coming today to visit.  I think it’s to see my niece and nephew but we will all get together!  All the special orders went out on Monday, except my friend Leigh’s order!  We are still waiting on Wild Cherry Re-inkers.  I’m working on a stamp for Leigh…Dropping by with a Halloween Hi!  She’s been wanting that.

I did use the same Kimberly’s Card Embossing folder and another CottageCutz die!  Love this little picket fence and it comes with grass.  Enjoy!  Beth

Thank You Cards

Thank You to KB for posting last week since I was really busy!  We made it home at 2 am on Monday morning from Collinsville,  IL.  We had an uneventful trip.  Those are the best kind!

I have promised everyone that I would make samples with the new CottageCutz dies that we are carrying in our booth!  I love the detail to them.  Here’s the first one…a simple butterfly.  This card also has one of Cuttlebugs new embossing folders.  I might challenge myself this week to use it on every card…we’ll see how it goes:)

We have a few weeks of rest before the Milwaukee, WI show on September 22 & 23rd at the State Fair Grounds.  Visit http://www.rubberstampevents.com for more information.  We really won’t be resting…Kevin is putting a new dishwasher in today.  In the morning we plan to start on a deck in the back yard.  Our back yard is a mess and we just need to clean it up a bit!  Maybe I’ll take some before and after pictures!

Here is the same border from Frog Card 2 again! The frog and flies were filled in with Copic Markers.

This card reminds me to worry less and laugh more. This is one of my favorite sayings to put on a thinking of you card for someone going through tough times. Life is hard but there are so many things to find joy in and be thankful for. Here are some things that bring me joy, maybe you share some of them…

1. sitting in the sun with a good book

2. getting an unexpected card in the mail

3. hearing about animals being adopted into wonderful families

4. family reunions

5. getting a whiff of the basil in my kitchen window

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday and is able to find joy in the day!
