so I really like using crazy colors for snowman cards! Makes them so interesting. This was a popular card at the One of a Kind Rubber Stamp Show in Madison. We had a great time there this weekend. Everyone kept looking for a little snowman stamp with a mouse but the stamp is actually quite big. Here is what it looks like:
so it can go across a full card…can be used in punches…or stamped in a little one inch circle! so cute!
We had a lot to do today 😦 and I’m not sure if we accomplished a lot or not :). I have been fighting a back pain that I’m not sure where it is coming from but I think a pulled muscle in my shoulder. No pain when I lay down but standing or sitting causes great discomfort that advil doesn’t even touch. Holding my shoulder very still helps too! Hard to get things done but we did get all the special orders and internet orders out. I have a few store orders we are working on but they are almost done too! Had a productive one hour stamping so I should have some cards to upload this week. so I guess I got some things done 🙂 Went grocery shopping to get stuff to make: yams, homemade rolls, apple pie, cherry pie and or course pumpkin pie. Looking forward to Thanksgiving!
Stamps Used: JJ16 KB’s Snowman w/ Mouse; DD61 Snow Fun Cube; DD60 1.25 circle and dots
For those who are interested…we have the variety pack of circle triple z fold cards back in stock again and all the other colors too!
Well, here it is Monday Morning Again! The days just keep passing by. Kevin and I will be very busy today making stamps for the York convention. We are going on a little mini vacation since Kevin’s sister Tamara is still in the midwest so we just have a few days to get them done.
This is a new Make n Take that we will be available in York. It came out so adorable. Stamps Used: BB51 KB’s Snowman; DD61 Snow Fun Cube, DD63 1″ circle & dots.
It’s an absolute perfect day here in WI! The weather is around 64 degrees- warm but cool. The temperature in the studio is perfect! Should get lots done today which is a good thing since I have lots to do. Travis is almost done vulcanizing for the Novi, MI show so then begins the task of making and packaging the stamps! Not my favorite thing! 🙂 Too tedious for me but it has to be done 🙂
The house is clean (for those of you just following…I clean the house every Wednesday if possible) I really wanted to skip it this morning but knew it would just make next week harder. By cleaning every week it just keep things neater and less stressful for me. So I got up early and got it done. Karissa is coming home tonight for the weekend…not that we’ll see her much she has all kinds of plans.
You may have notice a couple of new links to the right…we have been uploading cataloged images. Check them out.
Getting a slow start to my day this morning…long drive home from Bloomington, MN last night!
We had an awesome time in MN. Saw some old friends and met some new friends. A great show! The best selling stamp was this little DD60 stamp
that we used here on this card. It works with the 1.25″ scallop circle but is first punched with a 1″ circle punch. All of our new fun cubes were designed to fit inside of these stamps. All were designed to fit on the triple circle Z fold cards from The Paper Cut. This will be one of our new Make n Takes starting in Novi, MI.
We have a extremely busy schedule ahead of us. We begin the month of August with Novi, Mi…then Stampaway in Cincinnati, OH…then on to Collinsville, IL and we just got a call from Scrapbook Expo for the St. Charles show the very next weekend! Whew! maybe I’ll be so busy I won’t have time to eat and I’ll lose some weight! One can always hope! right!
Better get downstairs and help Travis with making stamps. Have a super Monday.
