With Sympathy Dove

With Sympathy

sympathy doveNot sure why this picture is so blurry! (Karissa will be giving me heck over it :)) I have needed a lot of sympathy cards this year and five minutes before leaving for the funeral, I’m running around trying to stamp a card. So I took some time last week and made a bunch.  I’m hoping because I have a bunch made up I won’t need any! I really like this embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Rebecca…simply yet elegant.

So the stamp made into the flower in yesterday’s post.  Ronda, you were right, it is a necktie.  Michelle stamped it on double sided cardstock and flipped the top down.  The number is C227 KB’s Heart Tie Sm.  How creative!

Happy Sunny Friday!

With Sympathy

Here in Mpls the morning started off sunny and at about 42 degrees. I’ve ditched the coat and have been enjoying watching the snow melt. Barely any left now. Well then in the afternoon it started lightly snowing, no good but luckily none of it stuck. Here are 2 very similar cards created with the same stamps and dictionary paper. Still trying to decide whether I like the blue strip of paper more or not. Hoping this weekend brings some warmer, sunny weather.

With Sympathy

old book 1 old book 2I took two pictures of this card…not sure which is better so posted both!

I picked up an old book at Goodwill the other day and have been making cards with it.  I hope you like them!  I actually have really enjoyed using them.  I think they look great.  A little different than my usual style but it’s good to break out of your shell!

Getting ready to paint the studio this week…trying to pick out colors…have a few picked out one is called Quiet Moments and another Harmonious…thought I could use a little help with those two things!

With Sympathy

Whew, it’s a chilly willy morning here in Green Bay!  Fall is here I believe.  Maybe I should be working on fall cards?!  Here’s a cute easy sympathy card…we have needed our fair share of these this year. Our dear 90 year old friend passed away recently.  We lived with her for a short time when we moved here to Green Bay…she opened her home and hearts to us and we will always remember her with love.

With Sympathy

Needed a sympathy card again :(…my thoughts with Willie’s family.  This was done very quick.  Embossing Folders just help make it fast and easy.  Next week I will start posting cards with some of our new images!  I will also be posting the cards we will be doing at the Akron Convention for the Make N Takes in our booth!

This paper is brand new from The Paper Cut, Inc.  can’t remember what it’s called but it’s a beautiful metallic paper.
