so I found another triple die!  It so needs to be cut though!  Love it!

We are still working on the laundry room…my husband can do anything but he usually does it really slow!  On the flip side, it is usually done right.  So yesterday we had to go to town and  get  some end pieces for the transition from the laundry room to the hallway.  Since it is a little hike to town (a tank there and a tank back- that’s $8) we decided the tiling looks so good that we would do the mudroom since we already have a big mess.  While there I got this idea to tile the counter in the laundry room.  We had everything updated but the counter and the closet.  So Kevin said “if we are going to do it – let’s do it!” So we came away with everything to tile the counter and ideas for the closet.  This laundry re-do is never going to be done 🙂

Good Morning!  Today’s card also uses yesterdays border stamp in the background!

I can tell you two things for sure about tiling.  I dislike it! It is messy!  Ugh.  We are half done laying tile and should be able to start the grout in the morning.  I will say this:  it looks AWESOME.  I’ll have pictures when all complete.  Glad we are doing one room at a time instead of the entire lower floor.

We had a busy weekend getting some things done.  Paint just makes things look better so…I painted some things 🙂  We have some ugly stairs going up to the studio so we painted them on Friday!  They look so much better!  We can’t finish the wall until the air conditioner/heater gets put in.

Friendship, Valentine's Day

lightbulbGood Morning!  Allentown did light up my heart this weekend!  Thank you to all our customers there!  Kevin and I were sound asleep by 10 pm last night and now we are  refreshed and ready for the day!

There is a boat load of work for us today…an internet order to get fixed, wholesale orders to send out, and all the special orders from Allentown – just to begin with.  Next I’ll get to all the emails and requests.  So thankful for work 🙂 it means we don’t go hungry !  Hope you have a great day!

Friendship, Get Well Soon, Hello, Just a Note, Thinking of You

rosyWell,  the day has certainly gone fast today but I guess the whole month has gone fast since we are staring March in the face!  I hope this cold and snow goes away soon.  Snow is fine.   Cold is not fine.  We loaded the trailer today and it was – 9 degrees.  That’s cold.  Indianapolis will be significantly warmer at 30 degrees this weekend.  Looking forward to that 🙂 We begin travel in the am…onward rejoicing we go!

sistersHere is a sneak peak at a couple of the new stamps!  A good one for today since we are having a girlfriend night of scrapbooking/stamping.  A few girlfriends including my sister coming over for a night of fun.

There is still so much to do before the Indy show… we’ve changed a few things and that always takes so much time to re-organize but it’s coming along nicely.

It’s Friday!

I learned something today 🙂 I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks 🙂  I was reading a pintrest cleaning blog the other day and it said when you clean your house you shouldn’t do zone cleaning.  As in clean the master bathroom, then the master bedroom, then the bathroom, then spare rooms etc.  I have always cleaned the house that way and thought it was efficient.  The article suggested do all the dusting, then the vacuuming, then the toilets, etc. through out the whole house.  I thought it seemed like a lot of running up and down the stairs and not efficient.  Well I was wrong!  I decided to try it today and I cleaned just about the whole house in about an hour.   The nice thing is you are not always looking for the next thing.  You just keep moving.  Loved It! Kevin was coming behind me and vacuuming and washing floors.  I did everything else.  I got a lot of exercise, that was so true,  but it didn’t hurt me.   It usually takes Kevin and I about 4 hours.  I don’t think I shaved off that much time but the house wasn’t real dirty which helps!  Any way Have a great weekend!

sarah frogOh my goodness…it’s a beautiful day here in WI!  It’s perfect, the sun is out and the temp is a perfect 70 degrees!

This morning I have a card from Sarah at The Paper Cut.  It is their topnote z fold card.  How cute is that!

We are leaving this morning for a little mini vacation!  We are turning over a new leaf and taking time to smell the roses!  I really have the itch to stamp this morning so off we go!

color my worldWhew, it’s been a long weekend!  We have been painting cabinets and painting cabinets until I’m blue in the face!  It’s been cold and raining so quite a challenge to paint in this weather.  The cabinets are done…the counter tops are in….getting close to a picture Ronda!  The studio is coming together.  Of course we are also getting ready for the Puyallup,  WA show so needless to say I’m a little tired and worn out!  I’ll have three days to relax in the truck while Kevin does the driving.  Enjoy this colorful card!
