We have a gorgeous day here in Wisconsin. I feel like we’ve had a very cool summer which is probably ok since we didn’t get the pool open this year.
Last night after supper I decided to make some sympathy cards since I was down to none. Our son is a minister and he asked for some sympathy cards the other day and I only had two! He likes them simple with nothing inside so I went to work last night.
I started with this card…I had seen the layout and I wanted to try it.

The pictures don’t really do it justice but it is simple and clean. I used an old cutting fern die – I think from Making Memories. The stamp was C331 Hearfelt Sympathy Sm
Made a couple of other quick ones…This one uses the larger D368 Heartfelt Sympathy Med

Enjoy your day! I have this boatload of cucumbers to get pickled!

Lovely cards. Up to my elbows, too, canning and pickling. Hoping you’re doing well, in my prayers for healing and comfort. Hugs❤️

Unfortunately we will not be traveling at all this year. Was diagnosed with breast cancer and that is about all we can handle right now. 🥴

Oh my gosh. I did not know. I pray that you caught it in time and have great success. I will have to check the website and pick out some words. Take care Melissa

The sympathy cards are wonderful. Nice variations also. As to cucumbers, I am now widowed and family lives too far away to be interested in what I would put to canning. I have learned to enjoy thinly sliced English cucumbers dipped in a favorite salad dressing as a substitute for potato chips. More healthy. Praying for your continued healing. Blessings, April

Hi Beth,
So glad to hear you are on the mend. Are you back to work yet?
I love these clean and simple sympathy cards.
How did you do the oblong embossing with the square left out?
Thanks, Kathy

Hi Beth,
Yes, I did see that you posted how you did the embossing and the cut out! You are so creative! Have you had to have any follow up treatment after your surgery? I hope you are recovering and gaining strength.
Thank you for posting the directions for your cards!
Kathy
