Thank You Cards

thank youA cute adorable card today!  Made by Karissa a few weeks ago when she was home.  The triple circle z fold cards are so easy to make a great card.

We are frantically making stamps for the St. Charles show this weekend.  Although we don’t have it listed on our website we will be there.  They called us a few weeks ago with a cancelation and asked if we wanted to fill it. We agreed to fill the empty spot.

tweetGood Monday to You!  We had a nice and hot weekend with lots of sunshine!  Hope yours was good too!

We have some new embossing folders in the booth and so I have a couple to show you this week.  I’m really into these birds on wires…not sure why but I like them!

These birds I do not really like…

baby birds

bird nestWhile we were gone on to W. Springfield, MA…these little birds Mama decided to build her nest on our front porch!  If I would have been home I would have stopped the nest building (my front porch is a mess now!) but once the eggs were there..well I couldn’t get rid of them.  As soon as they start flying though…..

Harriet thank youGood Monday Morning to You!  It is a beautiful morning here in WI…sunshine…sunshine…and more sunshine!  Makes the heart happy.  We had much rain over the past week and now I’m hoping to get my laundry caught since I can hang it on the line!  This week will feature an old item..printed vellum.  I pulled some out of the cupboard the other day and went to work.  This purple is a new purple from The Paper Cut called Basis Purple.  I really like it.  I’m going to post a picture of the embossing folder I used.  It is one of Cuttlebugs…been out for a while but it has a great feature to it.  If you’ve noticed some of your folders having a slot on the folded side the next picture will show you why.

emboss folderReally only works with Steno Cards.  A steno card is an 8.5×11 paper cut at 4.25″ on the short side so that you have a card with the fold on the top side of the card.  You can also put the card so it’s short and long!  Does that make sense. It’s scored at 5.5″ With these folders you can emboss the entire front of the card.

gratefulWe are grateful to the Puyallup area for a great show!  It was fun to see Darlene, Yara, Darlene #2, & Ruth and all the others I don’t  know by name!  We made it to Spokane last night and plan to make Dickinson, ND by tonight so a very long drive but we had great weather last night.  We saw the running horses monument as we drove last night…that was pretty cool.

We are bracing for another snow storm.  It is suppose to start at 3 am in the morning and continue till 9 pm on Friday.  Good day to just stay home and stamp!

Creatures, Thank You Cards

Hello!  We had a nice weekend here in Indiana and this morning we are heading to York, PA.  We are going to make a stop in OH at the Longenberger Basket Homestead.  I’m very excited.  It’s been several years since we have stopped and just looking forward to browsing and having fun on the way.  Most of the time we don’t stop and smell the roses and we just keep traveling so looking forward to just doing something for no reason!

This week it’s going to be Red Hot and Berrylicious week!  Love these two colors together.  Enjoy! and have a great Monday.
