Thank You Cards
Thank You to KB for posting last week since I was really busy! We made it home at 2 am on Monday morning from Collinsville, IL. We had an uneventful trip. Those are the best kind!
I have promised everyone that I would make samples with the new CottageCutz dies that we are carrying in our booth! I love the detail to them. Here’s the first one…a simple butterfly. This card also has one of Cuttlebugs new embossing folders. I might challenge myself this week to use it on every card…we’ll see how it goes:)
We have a few weeks of rest before the Milwaukee, WI show on September 22 & 23rd at the State Fair Grounds. Visit http://www.rubberstampevents.com for more information. We really won’t be resting…Kevin is putting a new dishwasher in today. In the morning we plan to start on a deck in the back yard. Our back yard is a mess and we just need to clean it up a bit! Maybe I’ll take some before and after pictures!

Our weekend went so fast in Cincinnati! We had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Designing new Make n Takes for future shows today! Many of you have noticed that I’m not demoing much in the booth this year. My voice box has developed some sort of problem where I lose my voice…so to preserve my voice we have gone to make n takes. They have been very well received and it’s much easier on my voice. I noticed this weekend that after four show in a row…my voice was getting raspy again so I’m trying not to talk this week. It’s really hard for me not to talk 🙂 I really like these cuttlebug die cuts that come with folders! Enjoy!

Thank You CardsI also really really like the fun shape of this card. I cut about 1.5″ down the score and then cut the top off. I used a 2″ circle punch for both the cut out on the grey card and the cream circle the birdbath is stamped on.

Thank You CardsWell our three weeks at home are finally coming to an end! We head back out on the road on Wednesday. Travis will stay behind and hold the home front down. We are really thrilled with the new stamps that KB has designed. You will see them this week on the cards. We hope to upload them to the internet store while we travel on Wednesday and Thursday!

Thank You CardsThe punches used with this card was the Martha Stewart Butterfly border punch. I just used one butterfly. Stampin Up Oval Scallop punch. For the circle I used two spellbinders. The oval inside the scallop oval was an EK punch 3/4″ x 1 1/2″.
